My cousin and I had booked our trip to Skellig Michael, but were trying to maintain some flexibility in our trip. Luckily, we knocked on the door and they had a lovely, clean room available for us with a wonderful Full Irish Breakfast the next morning. We stayed overnight, but unfortunately the weather was not cooperating for the Skellig trip... More

We had a really nice stay here and Mary Lou was very friendly and helpful with advice for where to eat, etc. The breakfast she cooked us the next morning was delicious and set us up well for the more than 600 steps to climb on Skellig Michael Island. Which by the way was one of the best things we... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights and were overwhelmed with Ken and Mary Lou hospitality, care, and 2nd mile effort to make sure our stay and family adventure were the best possible! We can't say enough how friendly and warm they were and how we felt like family after the first day of meeting them. Our trip got... More

The rooms at Skellig Side were clean, cosy and comfortable. Ken and Mary Lou were very welcoming. We had a good choice for breakfast. We only stayed one night but were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the room.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the Irish summer in the hope of getting out to the Skellig Islands with Joe Roddy. This B&B, run by Joe's son, Kenneth Roddy and his wife, was the obvious place to stay. You can get a reduced cost package for the B&B and the island trip; you get up-to-date weather information; you... More

We booked Skellig Michael Side B and B as we wanted to do the boat trip to Skellig Michael. We arrived night before boat trip. Ken and Mary Lou welcomed us and showed us to our room. The room was great although you do have to mind your head if you venture to the window. All very clean. Breakfast lovely.... More

We booked Skellig Side B&B because they also offer a trip to Skellig Michael as part of a package deal. As Skellig Michael was our focus for the weekend, Skellig Side B&B was just what we were looking for. Ken and MaryLou run the B&B which is just about two miles outside of Cahersiveen on the road to Portmagee and... More

We stayed here as part of a 2 day trip to do the Skelligs. The B&B was well sign posted and the directions were spot on. We were greeted with a lovely welcome from the lady of the house and shown to our spotlessly clean and well kitted out rooms. The bathrooms looked like they were just fitted and the... More

We stayed at Skellig Side for three nights, we combined this with a trip out to The Skellig Islands and as it is family owned buisness we were able to book both things together. Clean comfortable rooms, great food and a fantastic trip to the Skelligs.

Comfy room, good food including meeting our requests the second day for a change- up from the usual Irish breakfast, and updates on wweather and chances of getting to Skelig Michael. Ken was very clear in his emails re: confirming by phone, and our host the night beforewillingly made the call for us. Ideal if you are oping to go... More
