We stayed here recently and we would not fault this bed and breakfast. The rooms were warm, clean and cosy. The hosts Margaret and Noel are so helpful friendly and full of information. Lots of hot water and clean towels for your stay. Breakfast was an enjoyable feast every morning; such a good meal that sets you up for the... More

Stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic!!!. Noel and Margaret were great hosts and made sure that everything was perfect. They welcomed you into their home as if your were family. You have to try the scones as they are some of the best in Ireland! Don't miss this stop in Sneem as your travel around The Ring of... More

As someone who travels a lot for work around Ireland, I've been to many decent B&Bs, but the Bankhouse in Sneem is simply the best I have ever visited, after a having a desperate time during the bank holiday weekend in august trying to find a place to stay for the evening we were directed to the Bankhouse by another... We had two nights in Sneem and were delighted by the welcome we received at the Bank House.Noel and Margaret provided us with a good breakfast and an afternoon treat of tea, jam, cream and delicious home baked scones. The room was small but quiet and had a lovely view to the rear of the property. The decor throughout is... More

Just as Sneem is small and quaint, so is the Bank House. Located in the heart of town, the place is very clean, the food was great, and Margaret and Noel made us feel welcomed and at home. Lovely little gem on the Wild Atlantic Way. Thanks to you, we had a great night in Sneem.

We spent the day driving the Ring of Kerry and Sneem was as far as we got before hanging up the spurs for the night and to eat dinner. We got the last room in the place which was small but very comfortable especially after a few pints in the local pubs. The bathroom was tiny however and the shower... More

Our tour guide suggested we drop into this B&B for what said would be a lunch to remember and was. The proprietors Noel and Margaret were friendly and delightful. although their front parlour was a little small for our group of 35, it was worth it. we enjoyed sandwiches made with homemade bread and yhe we had Margaret's home scones... My friend Gwen and I absolutely fell in love with Noel and Margaret. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Every time we wanted to go somewhere—mostly on Noel's great recommendations—he got a taxi for us, and made sure we would have a taxi back as well. And Margaret's scones have ruined us... More

Was in Sneem for a wedding and as only staying one night we decided to stay in a B&B, the one we originally phoned was fully booked due to the wedding but she gave us Noels number and we were glad she did. It was very central and a 10minute walk from the hotel. On arrival he greeted us –... More

This was the nicest BnB we've ever stayed in! It was a super adorable house with the most welcoming hosts we've ever met! They went above and beyond the job of regular hosts - helping us find transportation and acting as tour guides to the surrounding area. The breakfast was superb, with delicious tea and bread they brewed and baked... More
