This hotel is located in a most beautiful part of Ireland. This weekend was a surprise for my birthday. We arived on the Friday evening. We were meet by front of house staff and were very impressed with the surrounding and the service. We were brought to our room by the porter. I was very disappointed with the room. The... More

The character still remains, yet the modern touches in the Spa/leisure centre make this hotel a lovely spot to get away to. The food in the restaurant is very good so no need to even leave the grounds. Make sure to walk the island paths too. An upgrade to the older rooms at front of hotel is a must (pricey... More

Attended a wedding at this beautiful resort recently. Magnificent location, hotel full of old world charm, exceptional food and staff. We did not want to leave.Views from out hotel balcony were amazing. We took full opportunity of the unseasonal weather and enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. The Irish breakfast even included your choice of fish grilled to order! The resort had7 stunning walks varying from 750 to 1800 meters . Also indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, kayaks... More

Stayed here a few times over the years and it never fails to disappoint. This year we did two weeks in one of the larger self catering villas. Grounds fantastic and better maintained than last year. Lots of walks aimed at families and couples alike. Motorised kayaks a must for a trip out to sea. A trip to Blueberry Hill... More

We stayed in the main part of the hotel and it was stunning. The whole place had an elegant charm but the spa and swimming pool gave it a very modern feeling. We stayed for the weekend and found all the staff we encountered friendly and welcoming. We had dinner on two nights in the restaurant and the food was... More

We stayed in a Courtyard lodge for a week as we prefer self-catering. The location is beautiful and the grounds well looked after. We did all the self-guided walks over a few days which were lovely but would suggest that a few more directional signs be added as at certain points it was not clear which way to go. We... More

This hotel is quite simply a piece of heaven. We stayed in the lodges in the grounds of the hotel. They are very nicely appointed and felt very homely and welcoming. The hotel is full of old fashioned charm and as residents in the lodges we had full use of the hotel facilities. The setting is superb the scenery breathtaking... More
