Such a cosy, warm and friendly place to visit, especially before Christmas as we had the good fortune to do recently. Log fires, twinkling trees and the aroma of mulled wine is the epitome of this little gem which I couldnt recommend highly enough. it certainly managed to instil a sense of magic and festive fun to a tired and... Myself and the family stopped here after being highly recommended for good value of food so we stopped here over the christmas holidays and found it to be cosy as we got a seat near the fireplace and our meal was tasty and good value for money. I had roast of the day which was 11.95 and my children had... More

This hotel boasts and gives the best of Irish welcomes. Lovely and beautiful bedrooms. Great atmosphere in the bar with live music offered most nights. Bar food and restaurant meals are the best we enjoyed in Kerry. From fresh fish and seafood to sumptuous steaks, cooked and garnished to perfection, guests will just love it and return. Great variety on... More

I enjoyed the best weekend with Marie Killian and Mike.It was a surprise 50th Birthday party organised by my wife and our Hostess Marie. We all travelled from Cork and were wined and dined to a superbly High standard with fingerlicking finger food on the night with the finest pints in glenbeigh. We retired to our sumptious bedrooms and were... More

Went in last weekend for dinner. Mike, the barman that has been there for years, came over with menus promptly. He took our order and it came out a little tardy but nothing to complain about. The food was lovely ( try the chicken curry) but since the Brennan brothers were here, with the TV advice show, the portions of... More

We had lunch here back in July. I cannot complain about the food. We had seafood chowder which was delicious. It was served with wonderful brown bread. Front of house is very badly managed. Nobody to seat you. Had a Guinness at the bar first then we just grabbed a table. It was busy but it was the height of... More

I would strongly advise a stay in this hotel for the olde world experience of the place. The original building is quite old as evidenced by it's being set down a little from the road and is brimming with charm. The residents areas are scrupulously kept and entering the hotel is like stepping back in time. I've stayed here a... More

Very bad experience. We had eaten here before and found the food to be good and reasonably priced, however that was on a quiet night. We returned during the summer to a busy bar. We asked for a table for two and were told there would be a wait of at least half an hour, We accepted this and had... More
