Glenross is excellent for camping and a good base to explore the hills of SW Ireland. Kathy is friendly and helpful, and there's a good campers' kitchen, which is a great place when it does rain. Being a short walk from the Glenbeigh Hotel with some lovely Guinness is another bonus. The Wi-Fi allowed us to get weather forecasts, which... More

Just returned from our two week tour of Southern Ireland. Glenbeigh was the highlight of our trip and we liked the area and Glenross Camping & Caravanning Park so much we extended our stay, forfeiting our stopover in Limerick. We received a very warm welcome; the site and facilities are extremely clean and tidy. The views from most pitches are... More

Glenross is a great campsite. Extremely clean, very friendly. Grass areas for tents is well kept. Campers dining area is great if you get a wet day. Pool room great for kids. We used this as a base for exploring Kerry as it is central to all tourist attractions. Fabulous beach in Rossbeigh (5mins in car) or 15 min cycle... More

From the minute that our family landed at glenross we could tell that we were in for an experience, the site is kept so clean and tidy, the facilities are second to none, the views are amazing and your right on the ring of kerry so you can easily call it your base to tour from.
