I and my brother have just spent 3 nights at Hillcrest. Our twin room was spotless, warm, spacious, thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable. Great bath towels! Excellent wifi. Breakfasts are fantastic and we had the use of a lovely sitting room and of the dining room (complete with offers of tea and cake) at all hours of the day..Bridget our... More

I agree with all the other reviews, this B&B is without doubt the nicest and best B&B in the Country. I stayed here after leaving a not so nice B&B in Kilarney after taking part in the Ring of Kerry cycle. This B&B was so nice, I would go back just to stay there. Really comfortable beds, spacious rooms, ensuite,... More

Can't fault lots of things you look for in accommodation and I gave it an excellent rating because it has a comfortable bed/impeccably clean and tidy bedroom and bathroom/quick wifi and great choice at breakfast time. If you're really picky it does lack atmosphere and charm other B and B have but the basics of what you need in an... More

You won't find better than Bridget for a warm welcome. Tea, cakes and biscuits on arrival. Room was spacious, clean and perfect for our needs. Anything you wanted for breakfast. Fantastic choice. The porridge was the best I've ever had, away from home! Bridget couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating.

First, this is a great place to start the Ring of Kerry. You are below the hustle and bustle of Killarney and you can beat the tour buses to the Ring of Kerry. It is just off the main road for the Ring of Kerry and the owner Bridgette was so lovely and delightful. Truly accommodating. And she responded immediately... More

HILLCREST HOUSE located in County Kerry, (Ring of Kerry) Glenbeigh, Ireland was the absolute best B&B we had the pleasure of staying in during our 7 day trip around Ireland. Mrs Bridget McSweeney was such a wonderful host and her breakfast was delicious and bountiful. She has been operating this B&B for 35 years but it looks like it was... More

Thanks to our wonderful host Bridget, we really enjoyed our brief stay at Hillcrest House. Room was spacious and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome from the outset. Great information on the surrounding area and one of the best breakfasts we have had in Ireland. Many thanks for your hospitality Bridget, you run a great b&b. Red Fox... More

Best B&B of our trip. The breakfast we had was something we’ve never seen before: scones, croissants, “the full irish”, … Our hostess Bridget even went to buy fresh salmon for breakfast one day. In the evening we were treated with coffee and biscuits. Bridget took really good care of us, gave us tips on what to see and do... More

Well placed for The Ring of Kerry or seeing the local area which includes great beaches and not far from Lough Caragh. Easy drive from Kerry Airport. Immaculate accomodation with good views all around . Mrs Mcsweeney was a super host and welcomed us with tea and biscuits on arrival. Super breakfast and very comfortable beds.
