We found the Sleepy Camel a few years ago and have stayed year after year when we are at Puck Fair. Home from home, great for all ages. Complimentary breakfast, great beach but make sure you have rain gear and sun screen - you may need both in the same day!

We did the Kerry Walk and the Sleepy Camel was the best hostel on our trip. The rooms were clean and there is a huge kitchen and living room. There is also a big garden and the possibility to do laundry.

Connie is the man!! Super friendly and very helpful. Immediately felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Nice, big and open. Very good location if you are on your way to Valentia or portmagee from the north. Highly recommend this hostel.

We had a great stay in this great hostel! This was one of the best hostels we stayed at during our 3 week Ireland vacation. Our room was comfortable and clean and we felt very safe and secure there. The owner was friendly and very helpful. My wife was having a hard time walking so he even drove us down... More

Warm and friendly B&B in beautiful Glenbeigh.. Owner /staff have a great sense of humour & are super helpful.. Check with Con for the weather forecast and his ponies will ensure an accurate read... Excellent pub (Ashes) is just steps down the street...rooms are clean and offer all you need and the self catering kitchen is excellent.. Great place to... More

One of the best hostels I have ever been to - and I have been to a lot! Very good prices; nice and clean rooms and bathrooms; good breakfast; nice living room with TV, a huge amount of books and cosy armchairs. The local pub and tearoom are just opposite and the beach is close. But the best - no... More

Stayed here with my family for three nights. Absolutely lovely people! Conn and Chris could not have been more welcoming. Kitchen and bathrooms were spotless! There was breakfast there in the morning (cereal, toast, tea/coffee). Good location, five minute drive away from Rossbeigh beach. Rooms were basic, but again very clean. There was a lovely sitting room, full of books.... More

We had a double bed room with a bathroom with shower. The room was big enoguh, pretty clean, the bed comfortable, sheets and towels clean and fresh. Unfortunately lack of ventilation revealed - after the first shower - lots of mold on the walls of the bathroom which were so white when we arrived. Available breakfast was ok (coffee, milk,... Good location to visit the bay and the Ring of kerry. Gleinbeigh is a very small village but quiet and has got very good pubs! Unfortunately we stayed at the Sleepy Camel only one night ! The room was really excellent: large, comfortable, bright, large and very clean bathroom. the staff was definitely kind and helpful. You can have free... More
