The B&B looked nice from outside. My husband and I asked for availability of a double room, and whether there were any issues regarding street noise since the building is right next to a major street. The owner became so amazingly rude and defensive. She told us that she can rent the room to 50 others who do not care... More

I spent three days at River's Edge and was very well looked after by Anne and Finn. They are great, nothing is too much trouble and there is always such a warm welcome. My room was spacious and quiet, so I slept well and woke refreshed and ready for one of Finns fabulous breakfasts which I ate while watching the... More

Friendly and helpful hosts and reasonably priced location. Rooms are spacious and beautiful and have everything you would expect in a hotel. Excellent breakfasts. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Killorglin.

Chloe's cheerful greeting was a great start to a great stay. Very comfy room- felt like a royal chamber, with the stone wall and big heavy red drapes. River right outside our window, a guy fly fishing in the morning right there. So picturesque. Perfect Irish breakfast in the am and we were on our way, with great travel advice... More

I had a wonderful time with the two hosts, Finn and Anne Coffey. They're very gracious and friendly. I spent the day at Skellig's Rock (highly recommended) and today cycling Slea Head drive on the Dingle Peninsula as suggested by Finn. It was a highlight of my Ireland trip so far. Many breathtaking views. Anne is quite the hostess. She's... More

My wife and I were driving towards the Killarney National Park area after exploring the Dingle Peninsula, and were looking for a place to spend the night. We had the great fortune of driving the town of Killorglin and spotted Coffey's Rivers Edge. As with all of the Irish that we had the pleasure of meeting, Finbarr was a warm... More

Highly impressed with Coffeys B&B! Only had time to stay one night but would have loved to have stayed longer! Ann and Finbarr were very welcoming. They gave me a great recommendation for somewhere to eat - Sol Y Sombra, told me about a beautiful walk over the bridge and were just great to chat to! The room was spotless... More

We stopped in here looking for somewhere to stay. Ann was most accommodating and provided us with good rooms with clean bathrooms and hot showers. The bed was little soft for my liking but that was a small issue. Breakfast was a plentiful and delicious

Anne and Finbarr were hospitable and helpful beyond the norm. Our room was fine and breakfast was excellent. The position of Coffey's River's Edge is lovely, right on the River Laune. There is a bit of magic to this town, as we had experienced quite a few years earlier. We were privileged to watch the hurling final (the first, drawn,... More

We wanted to visit Killorglin to see family, and were recommended to stay at Coffey's. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. From my first phone call with Anne, I knew we were in safe hands. My Mum doesn't walk very well and she immediately re-organised her room allocations to put Mum and Dad in the most suitable room,... More
