Mary Anne provided the best breakfast that we had in Ireland. We highly recommend the "pancakes" , which were actually fruit topped crepes. Mary Anne is warm, friendly and welcoming. The home was one of the prettiest places that we stayed in. It is only a 5 minute walk to town. Be advised that restaurants close early so we suggest... More

What a wonderful experience Mary-Anne provided us. Firstly the accommodation was first class. A spacious and comfortable room in a very pleasant location. Then there was the hospitality in the most generous proportions. Cakes, scones and breads to die for, all home cooked by Mary, who obviously adds a couple of ingredients not available from the supermarket, love and passion... More

My stay at Island Heights was wonderful. It was located just a short walk away from both my relatives' homes and from downtown Castleisland. Room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, great shower and hairdryer supplied. Guests can choose from a variety of breakfasts and all the food was delicious (homemade scones!) My hosts were friendly and gracious. All in... More

Just 20 minutes north of Kilarney and well worth the time. Very comfortable and quiet and the best breakfast of any B & B we've stayed at yet. Mary Anne works hard to make sure you'll be happy. She even let us borrow her vaccum to clean our car.

Food is great if staying for multiple days order something different each breakfast to get a taste of Mary's great cooking. This is what ALL bed and breakfast stays should be like. The room was excellent and very quiet, the proprietors were very friendly and happy to chat with you, and breakfast (cooked to order!) was exceptional. You can't find better. I'm recommending it to my friends when I get home!
