My friend was home from Oz and I brought her and my partner here for a meal. The lady owner was a great host and not 'too in your face' during the meal. We were seated in a lovely place in the conservatory with a beautiful view and we watched the sun go down as we ate. It was quiet,... More

Our first time in Ireland and we stayed 3 nights at Carrygerry. Neil, Gillian and Charlotte made us feel like we were at home. The B&B is very beautiful and relaxing. There is no doubt that we will stay there again when we return.

My friends and I traveled to Ireland for St. Patricks day and planned to explore the island. First stop was Shannon. Since this was our first stop we had some trouble locating the place and arrived early in the morning hoping to drop off our bags then go exploring. They were more than accommodating (given the early time) and seemed... More

We ended up staying at this inn rather than an on-site hotel the night before flying out to Shannon. The Inn is lovely -- very comfortable (beds a little on the soft side for me) -- but well maintained. The bathroom in our room was both very modern and HUGE! The only drawback to this place is that there are... More

A gift from our son and boy was it worthwhile. Stayed for two nights and had a fabulous meal on the Sat night after a long car journey from Northern Ireland. I can fully understand why we had to book that evening as the house was full of visitors from the local area and those who were staying overnight. Breakfast... More

We stayed here earlier this week for 1 night having read the previous reviews on Tripadvisor. What a wonderful place, and such a shame that we could only stay 1 night! Everything was perfect - the warm welcome from owner/front of house Gillian, the spacious room with beautiful decor and excellent shower, the absolutely delicious breakfast (the tastiest cooked breakfast... We stayed for three nights and were sad to leave this beautiful place. Not only was it the lovely atmosphere of the house but it was made more special by the genuine kindness of Gillian and her husband. Nothing was too much trouble for Gillian and she saw to it that every guest was made to feel at home and... More

My daughter, grandaughter and I enjoyed a most pleasant stay of 7 days at Carrygerry Country House.. The atmosphere was quite relaxing, the staff very accomadating, and owner, Gillian very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners in the solarium overlooking the Shannon River in distance, and the farm animals in the pasture next door. Our family suite... More

Arrived on our way home. Had a delightful drink in the bar followed by Irish music. Amazing dinner- pork with blood pudding and salmon with mussels. Followed by a delicious toblerone cheesecake which was perfect, light and with just the right amount of sweetness. Hostess and staff are delightful. You cannot believe you are within 10 minutes of Shannon airport.
