If you travel to Ireland then you'll quickly realize how amazing the people are. Amongst all the nice people we met while traveling in Ireland, Regina and Jim were the nicest! The rooms are simple. They are exactly what you need: Bathroom, comfy beds and hot showers. The common area is cozy with comfy couches, TV and a fire place.... More

We had a lovely two-night stay at the Kingstown House. Hosts Regina and Jim could not have been more pleasant or accommodating. From our pre-visit emails to our reluctant goodbyes, they bent over backwards to ensure a great stay, which far exceeded our expectations. The rooms are charming and very comfortable and breakfast was amazing each day. Regina even shared... More

I'd return. Location is great right across from harbor as well as in downtown within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. A convenient perk is the large grocery store which is right around the corner. Always found free parking within a short distance on the street, or there is also a lot across the street. Check-in was easy... More

We stayed at the Kingston House for two nights this October. It's really well located, there are many pubs with live Irish music just round the corner so eating out is easy. Four of us shared a family room - which was very charming and comfortable. It was equipped with one double bed and two single beds with plenty of... More

We stayed here last year after nearly a week driving around the coast of the island. It was such a comfortable atmostphere, great location, and overall perfect place to stay the night! The host was informative, and cooked a DELICIOUS breakfast! All-in-all it was the perfect stay in such a beautiful village! Will definitely come back on our next venture... More

The B&B is very nice and tidy, it looks like a class place for the most enthusiastic travelers, rooms are fantastic with big bathrooms, price is good for what you have inside, I highly recomend this place for anyone who wants a bit of peace at night. Staff is grand, and owners are very friendly and lovely people.

My daughter and I cycled the Connemara area of Ireland and had planned to stay in Clifden only one night - however, when we arrived and discovered the Clifden Arts Festival, we decided to stay 2 nights, taking a day bike trip to Kylemore Abbey. We didn't have reservations but were fortunate to find a room at our very first... More

Wow, were we pleasantly surprised at our first experience with a B&B. Thank God for Jim, because I do not know how our huge and heavy luggage would have made it to our room. Then, to add more icing to the cake (lol), we had a great, long conversation with our fellow New Yorker. What a perfect combination Jim and... More
