A large group of us stayed there over the weekend and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We had cancellations, new bookings and last minute changes within our group but the Station House sorted everything. With some of our party having strong links to the Castlecourt and Knockranny hotels we know how difficult these changes can be and so we... More

My 3rd trip to this hotel in 2 years and have to say disappointingly as bad as the first time......in fairness there are positives the people are lovely, great location, but that's it really....bedrooms ok for a couple of nights but the whole Hotel is like a flat pack pop up hotel.....cold lobby, lacks depth and soul!!! Food is always... More

3 bedroomed apartments are great for large groups. Sleep up to 5 adults and 2 children with the offer of extra camp beds if needed. Everything required is there for self-catering and staff are very helpful and friendly. They even leave the necessities like milk, bread, butter, etc for your arrival and fresh scones the next morning. Its great for children... More

Nice getaway hotel and location. Lobby a little breezy / cold on a rainy evening, an open fire would make all the difference. Breakfast was good, pancakes to order. Restaurant a little drab, tablecloths would make a world of difference for dinner in particular. Service was good and staff very friendly. Will return.

We spent 4 nights at Clifden Station House and enjoyed it. We found the Team that run the Hotel excellent. On two evenings we ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. Breakfast was also good and considering it was busy it was run efficiently. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment in the Station House Bar and had one... More

Myself and my wife stayed here twice this summer, which is a ringing endorsement in itself ! The Station House is a great location to explore Galway and Clifden. The hotel is comfortable and our room was recently re-decorated. The only negative is that the pool & gym are in need a lick of paint. The bar in the old... More

Stayed in 3 bed apt in July for week, great facilities everything from dishwasher/microwave even milk for us on arrival. Use of hotel pool/gym included. Very clean and less than 5 mins from the main square. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Sheets provided half way through the week. Small issue was that DVD player was not working but TV stations... More

Nice hotel in central location, clean, great breakfast! Only issues were that the hairdryer in the room didn't work had a safety switch that went off after 30seconds use and the pool in the morning was completely overcrowded so if your a planning on a relaxing break, not the best in the morning. Great though for families I guess!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. which could be described as a very comfortable Town House. The apartment is two storey, it was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. It was very well equipped with a very spacious kitchen/living area, a single bedroom, a toilet and wash hand basin downstairs. Upstairs had two bedrooms one being en suite and... More

We had such a nice week in clifden recently, we stayed in your self catering apartments, we loved the welcome pack and my son lived on the fruit scones you left us all week. The pool and kids club made the holiday and one of your amazing receptionists even brought us some of her own DVDs from home when I... More
