I have just stayed at this hotel for the holiday weekend with a group of friends.Very good location in the centre of Clifden.The staff in reception,the bar and the restaurant could not be more helpful.Very good food for both breakfast and dinner. The alcock & brown is right in the centre of Clifden town so it has a perfect location although the hotel itself doen't have parking. The bedrooms & bathroom are large and are very clean. Hotel is in the centre of town, and is one of the few ugly buildings there - probably dating from the 1970s. Once inside however the reception area is excellent, as is the bar.
