After a day touring Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands, we drove through Connemara and ended up in Clifden. Clifden is a lovely little village, filled with friendly people, but it was after dark and we hadn't made plans for somewhere to stay. We had previously stayed at the Clifden Farm House and it was a nice experience, so... More

If you're going to Clifden stay at Clifden farmhouse! From the moment you get out of the car you'll feel welcome, courtesy of Sheba the dog who enjoys playing fetch with rocks. The location of the b&b is perfect, it's a quick 2 minute walk to the town centre but is away from all the noise at night and it's... More

We were on a trip around Ireland and had pre-booked this B&B for a Sunday night. It is in a beautiful part of Ireland, on a hill, overlooking Clifden. The bungalow is up a steep hill with plenty of parking and as soon as you arrive, Mary is the perfect hostess. She could not do more for you. The surroundings... More

Mary was a wonderful hostess and made my family of 8 feel very welcomed. We stayed here for two nights and loved every minute. It is a short walk to town which is great when you have been in town listening to the music in the pubs. On our way home her dog Sheba meet us on her block with... More

Very quiet and lovely farmhouse; warm welcome (family dog & host Mary's friend, who offered us a welcome drink while Mary was at mass); best shower ever (high water pressure!); nice room; clean; good price.

Mary was very friendly and helpful and her breakfast was ample and delicious. We arrivied w/o reservations but she had gone to town and left a note that rooms were available and she would be right back. The house is on the end of a dead end street, thus it is very quiet. It is a very easy walk to... More

Stayed here during the Bank Holiday weekend with my girlfriend whilst on a motorcycle trip. The b&b is within easy walking distance into the town (5 minutes). The room was clean and tidy, our room had an ensuite. Shower (with shampoo and shower gel) and toilet in ensuite the hand basin was in the main room area but well placed... More

We (Jan and Benu) knocked on the door on a rainy day looking for accommodation. Mary, the hostess, opened the door and greeted us with a hot pot of tea and biscuits. Our stay here for two nights was very comfortable. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Mary is a great hostess, very accommodating always with a smile! We recommend this... More

My wife and I recently had an opportunity to visit Clifden, Ireland. We arrived in town after dark and drove up a road looking for a friendly B & B. My wife spotted Clifden Farm House and said she'd like to stay there. She knocked on the door and was greeted by Mary, who invited us in and gave us... More

The room decor was a little dated but it was very comfortable and everything you required was there.Mary was a delightful hostess who provided wonderful hospitality and... More
