We stayed here on a Saturday night after walking from Thomastown to Inistioge along the beautiful Nore Valley. The room was excellent - clean and spacious and great power shower! The breakfast was top class and the proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Nice pub for a few drinks in the evening. The whole lot was excellent value at €35... More

Inistioge is a charming little place and the Woodstock Arms is at its centre. It is a traditional Irish pub with a lovely terrace on the village square. We were fortunate enough to be there is nice weather so we could enjoy a drink outside watching the activity around us. Richard and Annette were friendly hosts and cooked us a... More

Small lodging over own pub in the charming Village of Inistioge, in the River Nore Valley tsouth of Kilkenny. Rooms clean and modest, reasonably priced. Hosts Richard and Annette very warm and welcoming, helpful and attentive. Small, quiet little pub downstairs. Wander around the village, people very friendly. Greenway along the river is breathtaking. And, do not miss walking Woodstock... More

A few weeks ago my family and I had a party in this pub the day after my sisters wedding. It was the perfect venue. It was a beautiful evening and there is a beautiful spacious outdoor seating area. We enjoyed the good weather and the craic. The staff were so friendly and we had a great night. Some of... More

First I should say that the Woodstock Arms is not overly fancy. Innkeeper Richard O'Keefe warns when he takes your reservation that all rooms are in close proximity to the public bar. :) The bar serves very good bar food. The breakfast is superb (one of the best full Irish breakfasts on the trip, until my conscience moderated my diet.)... More

Woodstock Arms was a welcoming place with friendly staff. It's nothing particularly remarkable, but everything is done very well. The rooms are clean and spacious, the convenience of being in town and connected to a pub is fun and appreciated. And the breakfast was great.

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June with my three adult daughters. First of all, I must say that the innkeepers were the loveliest, most accommodating people in the world. We had a belated birthday for one of my girls and Richard was wonderful about sneaking the cake into the pub for us, and even found candles.... More

We stayed here on a getaway and would return again. The bar and B&B are joined but with separate entrances. All the people who worked there were friendly and helpful. The room was well kept, clean and comfortable. The bar is very much a rural locals bar, that is to say it's not just for the tourists. It's clean and... More

Great little pub in the middle of the beautiful village. The bar and the bar food are excellent and the room is extremely comfortable. The best breakfast on the whole walk on the way from Dublin to Co. Kerry

Staying above the pub was so much fun. You are right in the heart of all that is going on in the village. The beds were very comfortable and the room was good sized. My parents had the room right above the pub and it was huge! Everything was very clean. I LOVED having a vanity to sit at and... More
