First I should say that the Woodstock Arms is not overly fancy. Innkeeper Richard O'Keefe warns when he takes your reservation that all rooms are in close proximity to the public bar. :) The bar serves very good bar food. The breakfast is superb (one of the best full Irish breakfasts on the trip, until my conscience moderated my diet.)... More

Woodstock Arms was a welcoming place with friendly staff. It's nothing particularly remarkable, but everything is done very well. The rooms are clean and spacious, the convenience of being in town and connected to a pub is fun and appreciated. And the breakfast was great.

Stayed here for two nights at the beginning of June with my three adult daughters. First of all, I must say that the innkeepers were the loveliest, most accommodating people in the world. We had a belated birthday for one of my girls and Richard was wonderful about sneaking the cake into the pub for us, and even found candles.... More

We stayed here on a getaway and would return again. The bar and B&B are joined but with separate entrances. All the people who worked there were friendly and helpful. The room was well kept, clean and comfortable. The bar is very much a rural locals bar, that is to say it's not just for the tourists. It's clean and... More

Great little pub in the middle of the beautiful village. The bar and the bar food are excellent and the room is extremely comfortable. The best breakfast on the whole walk on the way from Dublin to Co. Kerry

Staying above the pub was so much fun. You are right in the heart of all that is going on in the village. The beds were very comfortable and the room was good sized. My parents had the room right above the pub and it was huge! Everything was very clean. I LOVED having a vanity to sit at and... More

This Irish pub is located in the centre of the postcard village of Inistioge. The room was spacious and the queen sized bed luxurious compared to accommodation in Dublin and much more affordable. The breakfast was also generous, but most memorable was our host's generosity with his time when talking about the history of the area. We only stayed 1night,... More

Our first B&B wasn't great so we were nervous all of them were going to be disappointing...no Woodstock arms!!! Wonderfully sweet bartender was attentive when we checked in and when serving us dinner. Amazing Irish brealfast in the morning with full breakfast available, yogurt, cheese and cereal as well. Such a great time, wishe we stayed longer than 2 days!

We have spent many days in Ireland. This B and B has been by far the best. Annette and Richard were terrific. Their pub is a local favorite so be prepared for a cast of characters. We highly recommend it for anyone wanting a real, down to earth rural experience in Ireland. The location was far better than expected. The... More

We loved our stay in Inistioge. The owners are friendly and willing to answer question and offer advice about what to see in the area. The breakfasts are lovely, the rooms clean and large. The noise from the bar never really came up, but the noise from outside the bar can if you don't close the window, closing the window... More
