We spent a wonderful night at the Coatesland and would highly recommend it. Florence and Donal were great hosts. The room was bright and sunny and offered a good view of the flower garden. Florence gave great advice as to the restaurants and pubs in Adare. Top notch breakfast.

B&B Ireland just rates this as 3-star but it was far better than any of the 4-star B&B we stayed at. The breakfast was amazing! The breakfast room was spectacular! Every amenity imaginable was offered and some that I couldn't even imagine. There is a wonderful lounge area for mingling and relaxing. The hospitality and service are truly unmatched. If... More

We loved our stay in Adare in May 2014. The accommodations were very comfortable. It was just a short walk into the village for dinner. Breakfast was just amazing, likely the best of our entire trip, our sweet host Florence even shared her recipe for Irish porridge with me. I've been trying to re-create it at home, someday hopefully it... More

We were in Adare on a Friday evening and asked the Information office to help us find a B & B for the night. By sheer luck we ended up at Coatesland House and it was the nicest, friendliest B & B we stayed in in Ireland. Florence is super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Can't say enough!

Floss and her husband were the sweetest people we met on our trip to Ireland. Every morning you awoke to not only a continental breakfast but a full Irish breakfast if you so chose made by Florence herself (who is an AMAZING cook). They have the sweetest labradoodle named Winnie and you get to hear lots of stories about when... More

I was in Adare over the August bank holiday for a friends wedding, and booked in to the Coatesland House for the 3 nights. I have to say, it was a beautiful, clean , comfortable and well equipped B&B, and very reasonable. More importantly (I felt) however, was how well both I , and my friends who stayed there were... EXCELLENT B&B! Donal and Florence are wonderful, our room was clean and neat, wi-fi strong everywhere, breakfast great. Their attention to detail here is real treat to experience. When we came back from a day out, they saw we had a bottle of soda in our room and brought up a mini-fridge to our room and put our soda in... More
