What a warm welcome to Ireland! We stayed at "Coatesland" on our first night in Ireland. Our hostess, Florence was an absolute joy to meet and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with her. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We were easily able to walk to the village center to enjoy the restaurants, pubs and shopping. Now for... More

Pete and Bsrbara C We stayed two nights at Coasteland and it was an incredible experience Florence is a warm and generous host who welcomes you as part of her family. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the breakfast provided is extensive, from cheeses and fish to porridge to a full Irish breakfast. The location is excellent, an... More

Florence and the staff were outstanding. The Irish Breakfast was very authentic and filling. The room and bath was clean and well maintained. We stayed 6 days and used it as home base to take day trips to Ring of Kerry, Ring of Dingle, the Cliffs of Mohr, The Rocks of Cashel, Bunn Ratty Castle and Connemara. We rented a... More

My wife and I stayed at Coatesland House in early April 2015. We chose Coatesland due to its close proximity to many of the attractions we were visiting and its positive reviews. Florence exemplified the Irish hospitality that you hear so much about. The accommodations and prepared meals were wonderful and made it apparent that she takes great pride in... More

We stayed at many B&B's in Ireland and this one was by far our favorite. My kids fell in love with their extremely intelligent dog, Winnie. Florence was a wonderful hostess and Louise (her helper) was a lovely woman who kept the place humming along beautifully. The breakfast was not only the Standard Irish Breakfast, but also smoked salmon, cold... More

We visit Adare the same weekend every year but generally book into a hotel. This time we decided to join friends in the Coatesland Guesthouse. We are thrilled that we did because it was better than a hotel and for half the price. Well appointed bedroom with fruit & sweets on the dressing table, a roaring open fire downstairs and... More

I stayed here with my wife and children for 4 nights in February. This guest house is warm, clean & the hosts are very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They also have a very child-friendly dog that our kids adored!

Coatesland House is first rate in every way. Every amenity was provided. The rooms were lovely, clean and well appointed with everything you might need. The attention to detail was wonderful right down to chocolate and cookies on your pillow. The best part was the kind hospitality and warmth of Florence who looked after you like you were family.
