We had a wonderful experience at Coatesland, literally from the moment of booking to the getting on the bus to leave Adare. We were going to Adare for a wedding, and needed to get into our room a little earlier than normal check in time to get changed, as we were coming straight from the airport. We emailed Florence and... More

Me and my friend didn't know that it's not seen as polite to ring the bell on B&Bs after 20.00 pm. At 11.30 pm we arrived here, no booking ahead. Florence was just about to go to bed, but still she let us in - with a big smile. A lovely, warm and welcoming woman. The accomodation was more than... More

We had a wonderful experience staying in Adare at the Coatesland House. Everything was just as we expected it from the internet, and Florence the hostess was so very warm and welcoming. She gave advice for our evening, and seemed genuinely to care that our stay was satisfactory. Breakfast in the morning was in the sunny back "porch", with lavish... More

We spent our first night in Ireland here. Very lucky! Florence is the sweetest lady. She gave us good advice on where to find the best pub for live traditional music that night. The room was nice; the bathroom also. Breakfast was a treat. We are vegans and she had soya milk and soya sausages for us! We loved her... More

I am from Limerick and had the opportunity to stay here with friends that had come from overseas for a wedding. Having stayed in many English bed and Breakfasts I can say this outshines any privately owned accommodation previously stayed in. Florence was an exceptional host including Winnie the dog! We did have the front room in the house and... More

Gracious welcome from the owner and Winnie the dog as soon as I drove into the private parking area at the rear of the house. I was given a choice of two rooms, one as nice as the other. The clean, spacious room with a small refrigerator in the closet was beautifully decorated. There was fresh fruit and candy on... More

(This review has been revised and resubmitted as I was advised that it previously included an inaccurate assumption). First visit to this part of Ireland for my wife and me. Adare is a pleasant town although somewhat strangled by through traffic in the summer season, a penalty of not having any highway bypass, which would perhaps take much needed trade... More

We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 teen boys) and stayed one night in two rooms. We just loved this bed-and-breakfast. Everything was ideal. We received a warm welcome, the house was very pretty, the rooms were just the right size and nicely equipped with outlets and a way to make coffee/tea, the bathroom was roomy and the... More
