I was in Adare over the August bank holiday for a friends wedding, and booked in to the Coatesland House for the 3 nights. I have to say, it was a beautiful, clean , comfortable and well equipped B&B, and very reasonable. More importantly (I felt) however, was how well both I , and my friends who stayed there were... From the minute we arrived we were greated with warmth and great frendship from Winnie (the dog) and of course Donald & Florence. What wonderful people. We stayed for four night and were made to feel like part of the family. Breakfast was great plenty of options to choose from.Florence would always have a chat and give us a good insight/history... More

EXCELLENT B&B! Donal and Florence are wonderful, our room was clean and neat, wi-fi strong everywhere, breakfast great. Their attention to detail here is real treat to experience. When we came back from a day out, they saw we had a bottle of soda in our room and brought up a mini-fridge to our room and put our soda in... More

Florence's attention to detail is amazing!! So many nice little touches! We could only stay one night, wish it was longer! She gave excellent recommendations for dinner and music, and it was an easy walk into to town. Breakfast was excellent and so many options. A must stay!!

What a wonderful find for a B&B in Adare. From our first warm greeting from the proprietor, Florence, and her wonderful dog Winnie, we knew that we had found the perfect base for our exploration of the sites around Adare. The rooms were very clean, homey, and comfortable. In our short stay, we felt that we were treated like family... More

Had no reservation for our last night in Ireland. We were flying out of Shannon airport and were coming from Blarney. The first B&B we saw in Adare was Coatesland. The vacancy light was on and we drove in. We got lucky, there was a room. Our hostess and Winnie the dog met us at the door with a warm... More

The Hogan's are amazing people, let's get that out of the way early. We had planned to stay in Limerick, but after driving through, preferred the smaller town of Adare, which was a great small place to stay. We got there a little after 8PM, and were greeted by Donal and their dog Winnie!!! My wife and I love dogs... More

This is the best B&B in Adare! We stayed with Florence (and Winnie) in May 2014 during our mother\daughter vacation. Florence makes you feel like family. She offers tea upon arrival and has so much information about Adare and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, free wifi, and if you are a dog-lover and miss your pets... More

My Mom and I stayed at the Coatesland Guest House for one night, and loved it. We actually showed up on Friday evening and didn't realize we had made a reservation for Saturday instead (by mistake!). Florence was so accommodating, and was such a lovely person. Her B&B is very quaint and cozy, very clean, great breakfast and centrally located... More

We arrived on the wrong day and the owner, Florence, wasn't upset at all....made us feel right at home. She was very gracious and welcoming. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had the best porridge EVER. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will return again to stay the next time I'm in Ireland.
