The award on the entrance wall says it all. Best BB in Ireland. Friendly and very hospitable. Look forward to staying again. Loved the area and found lots of interesting things to do and see. Thank you to Bridie BB.

Another stay at a really excellent B&B. Warm, cozy, clean and welcoming, walking distance to all of Adare's pubs, restaurants and shopping. Little details go a long way here. Rooms are comfortable and nice. Hostess Bridie is great, too. We'll be back.

Stayed here during a short break. The place is clean and comfortable but old fashioned. The location is good as it is a short walk away from the town. The house felt quite cold as the heating wasn't on much and it wasn't warm outside. The service was friendly and the lady who was looking after the guest house was very... More

We had a lovely stay in Adare at the Berkeley Lodge. Bridie was very warm and welcoming! She showed us our beautiful room and gave us all the information we needed! The location was perfect for walking into town and enjoying this quaint village! Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and served in her beautiful dining room! we so... More

Booked into Berkeley Lodge for two nights 28 and 29 March. Lovely atmosphere with a very kind and helpful hostess. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The full Irish was served with fresh honey from a local farm. My room was very clean and welcoming, Linens were more than adequate as were the many towels..... More

I am traveling around Ireland and was I was originally scheduled to stay in another b and b. The owner of that one had an emergency, however, and sent me over to Berkeley instead. The location is ideal, two minutes walk from town and barely a minute to the grocery store. Room was large and the bed comfortable. Bathroom was... More

I thankfully only stayed one night. The lady of the house, though charming on the phone, wasn't very welcoming on arrival but that's ok. It doesn't bother me, but gives a poor first impression. The smell of cigarette smoke seemed to permeate the whole building, both upstairs & down. The bedroom was tiny with the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen.... More

Arrived here again but this time with my wife and our 2 young children. Bridie was the highlight of our 2 year old's holiday. Leah fell in love with a realistic cat doll in the public living room, that she named "BOOTS"during our stay. She slept with "BOOTS", had "BOOTS" at the table for breakfast. Cried when we were leaving,... More
