The part I did like was the night before we received an email greeting asking for confirmation on the time of our arrival. The part that I am unhappy about is that upon our arrival, it took a long time to find parking plus the traffic and streets are really tight, we dragged our suitcases to the BnB to be... More

Clean room which is attractively decorated . Staff were friendly and very helpful and suggested a walk and a route to go out to the fort .Kinsale is a very pretty little seaside town , my favourite in Ireland . We paid €5 each for breakfast attached to guesthouse one morning and found it elsewhere another day ,which was great... More

Tierney's was a perfect place to stay...and reasonable. The location couldn't have been better. It is right in the heart of things but also far enough away from all of the traffic and noisey night clubs. The room we had was basic, but had an end suite bathroom. Modern decorations and furniture and well kept. Clean room...slightly small if you... More

We drove into Kinsale with no reservations and happened to notice Tierney's Guesthouse, which had vacancies. The stairs up to our room was a bit of a challenge, but not impossible. The room was small, but adequate, and the bathroom was VERY small, but again, adequate. The staff was quite helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was fabulous.... More

We went to Kinsale to visit after hearing such great things about it. We found the guesthouse from Booking.com and since it was easy to book, got it straight away. We opted for a twin room which was available, but unfortunately the guesthouse people never got that selection. I can't imagine they wouldn't have received the specification since Booking.com make... Kinsale is such a charming little area - very picturesque etc. We stayed at the Tierneys Guesthouse which wasn't hard to find. Have to maneuver the stairs but we had such a nice view o the town. We needed lots of internet assistance including confirmations, etc and the front desk staff was great - printed up what we needed. This... More

stayed at this B&B for a Saturday night. The room was compact, the shower and toilet was a very tight fit, you would have difficulty turning around in this 'ensuite' . I was glad we had a room at the rear as the noise from the adjacent pubs could still be heard, what it would be like at the front... More

Stayed here for 1 night as part of a 3 day mini break. Proprietor was very friendly, chatty and helpful. She also insisted on showing us the room, prior to paying, so we would be sure it was ok. Although the room was small and ensuite tiny it was more than acceptable. The breakfast, included in the price, was lovely... More

As a couple our impressions differed slightly. My wife felt the room too small and therefore somewhat overpriced. It was definitely the smallest room with ensuite we stayed at in Ireland. It's an old fashioned guest house. The rooms are scrupulously clean. The ensuite likewise very clean, accommodates only one at a time. It is tiny! However, everything required is... More
