It was late March when I arrived, originally for a few nights but I liked it so much I stayed 12! I used Sunrise as a base for exploring the south of Ireland by motorbike and Sunrise B & B is perfectly located for doing that. Both Noreen and husband Dan were very helpful and went out of their way... More

A gorgeous, spacious home in a lovely country setting. We had room number two and it was very spacious for three adults. Clean, crisp sheets, comfortable sleeping, plenty of outlets for electronics, and a small sofa for relaxing. Traditional Irish breakfast was prepared well, fresh coffee and pleasant hostess made for a lovely stay. Our only trouble was finding it... More

Sunrise is a 5 to 10 minute drive out of Kinsale into the country side. It's quiet and the view is wonderful. Noreen was a wonderful host anticipating our needs. The house is very nice, clean, modern, and the rooms are spacious. The only thing we found strange was the lack of towel bars in our bathroom. The other downside... More

Positives: fine house with a great view, rooms are spacious, breakfast is great including home made jam. Negatives: our room had a fair amount of noise from down below, a little out of town although we generally like that, even though they have a dedicated living room for guests, the owner was in there watching television, so not so welcome,... Stayed here in July for 2 nights. Open countryside view. Food was excellent and sufficient, room was very clean. Kinsale town very pleasant to walk round. The surround areas very picturesque. Made you feel very welcome.

We really enjoyed staying at Sunrise. We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of natural light in the room. Noreen was very welcoming, and she made excellent breakfast. Its off the main road which gives it that charm of being really out in the countryside yet it was... More

We stayed at Sunrise B & B for one night. We were very lucky that Noreen Murphy was open as most B & B's in the area were not yet open for the season. The road down to her place cuts through the fields but the view is peaceful and quiet with the cows grazing in the pasture. Our room... More

The rooms were beautiful, one of the largest rooms we've stayed in. Great view overlooking the pasture. It was too far to walk into town, but the drive was only a few minutes. We followed Noreen's recommendation and ate at Jim Edwards-- we were not disappointed. Very friendly, and she took us in with only about 30 minutes notice. The... More

Our stay at Noreen's home started off with a warm Irish welcome. Our room room was large with a wonderful view of the pasture land. White Egyptian cotton linens,a queen bed, knotty pine wood flooring and a bath/shower combo in the en suite combo. Although I would not advise taking the 3k or 1.5 walk into Kinsale, due to the... Doreen greeted us and was very pleasant throughout our stay. The house seemed new, accommodations were comfortable and attractive. The bedding was comfortable and attractive as well. There is a herd of yearling cows on the property who were very amused by visitors. They spend the night in the field and you hear an occasional moo but other than that... More
