Great location in Kinsale. Room very small but beautifully decorated. Hosts Aileen & Orla were extremely helpful and provided a great breakfast. Parking is available next door and everything is a short walk away. Strongly recommend but suggest try for the larger room.

My niece, mother and I had the opportunity to stay at The Cloisters in September 2014. Aileen and Orla went to great lengths to make our stay exceptional. The location of the B&B to town was great as we could walk even though my mother is elderly. It was our first time in Kinsale and I really hope that we... More

My wife and I stayed here one night while on vacation in Ireland. Aileen and Orla are great hosts. The location is perfect. It is located about 2 blocks from downtown Kinsale and there is a small parking lot on the left hand side of the building. It is 1.75 miles to Charles Fort which made for a nice 5K... More

We were here in late August. Hosts are lovely, rooms are nice and good amenities (like tea and hairdryer). Beds are really comfy and location is in the center. Breakfast is fantastic, I love the scrambled eggs and salmon. Maybe not spectacular but a great B&B to stay.

This B&B was a real winner. Aileen and Orla were so welcoming and so helpful. Parking was a challenge when we arrived and Aileen jumped in the car and guided us to the car park. Breakfast was WONDERFUL! The décor is charming and the entire place absolutely immaculate. We would definitely return!

This bed and breakfast was exactly what I wanted and imagined for a quaint fishing village. It was very close to town where we could walk to the center of town for pubs and shopping within a couple of minutes but was tucked away enough to provide a quiet night for sleeping. Our room was the perfect size, nothing excessive,... More

When in Kinsale, you really should stay at the Cloisters. Great location in Kinsale, walking distance to everything (including the great Pubs). Aileen and Orla are great hosts and very welcoming. They prepare a great little breakfast and are helpful in every way. (We even had a nice chat with them at our favorite Pub on night.) Kinsale is a... More

You can't do any better than Aileen and Orla's place in the heart of Kinsale. The room was better than cozy (Rick Steve's term). the room was a good size with some extra attractions we had not seen elsewhere (e.g. a ceiling fan). Breakfast was great and our hosts couldn't be more friendly and helpful.

Orla and Aileen are most welcoming hostesses, and Cloisters B&B itself was a cozy, clean, comfortable home during our short stay in Kinsale. The breakfast was cooked to order and was so delicious!! Orla and Aileen were very helpful and took time to talk with us about our next stops on our trip, offering suggestions for activities, routes, and restaurants.... More
