After several attempts at trying to locate this place, we stumbled upon it by chance. The view from the front of the house is breathtaking but unfortunately, thats where it ends. Nan, the host was not there when we arrived so we were greeted by her daughter Valerie who was very nice. We were brought to our rooms which were... More

Finding the place is a bit tricky! Watch out for the cows walking down the road, but one you get there Nan provides some of the best service in Ireland, she greeted us at the door with a smile on her face and cheer in her voice! She offered us a cup of tea to settle in and made our... More

We stayed one night in this B&B and it really was the nicest B&B during our week in Ireland. The host, Nan, is a wonderful lady, who made us feel very very welcome with tea and delicious homemade cake. The rooms are lovely furnished and everything is clean. The view from the window is amazing. The breakfast is delicous as... More

Thank you to Nan and her daughter Valerie, for making our overnight stay a wonderful experience. We were cycling around Cork, family of 7 adults and 7 kids. We were welcomed by Nan to a hot cup of tea and muffins! Yummy! Nan made recommendations to the restaurants in the local village. That night we slept great in the comfort... More

We had a warm Irish welcome from proprietor Nan McCarthy into her lovely B&B we came to call home in Kinsale. Absolutely lovely view of the harbour and surrounding countryside. We enjoyed Nan's company immensely. We found a great nearby restaurant, The Pink Elephant. Lots of pubs in neighboring villages and fun things to do. Highly recommend this B&B as... More

Four of us stayed 3 days in two different rooms that had a beautiful view overlooking the harbor. Nan was friendly and welcoming and serves delicious breakfast. The WiFi is accessible from the sitting room (we found that the sweet spot is when you sit in the middle of the couch) and we were grateful because it was the first... More

Harbour Crest was one of my favorite B&Bs! It's set in the country with a beautiful view of the bay. Nan was one of the sweetest, more helpful hosts ever! She gave us a lot of useful restaurant and entertainment tips and served delicious snacks and breakfast food. The scones were amazing! The house is beautiful, unique, and clean. If... More

My husband and I stayed one night and got no sleep as the room was infested with mold. When we checked in we got a wif of it but thought it was our imagination. When we returned from dinner our host had turned off the heat for the night and as the temp dropped, the dampness and mold smell rose.... More
