Tom and Chrissie were awesome , warm and welcoming hosts. Chrissie prepared a large varied and delicious breakfast. Eating in their kitchen was homey and enjoyable with Chrissie discussions of local events.

This experience was such fun. Husband and wife establishment. She was exploding with personality and entertainment while we ate breakfast in her kitchen. The room was small yet clean and tidy. Great location!

The ground floor of this b & b is the hosts day-to-day living room, which is dirty, dusty, cluttered and had the absolute worst wet dog stench ever! I love dogs, but this was absolutely overwhelming and disgusting! We arrived to find Tom sitting in the dark watching his TV with the volume blasting -- when he opened the door... More

Central location to wander around Kinsale. Great sense of hospitality from the owners. Chrissy is very heartwarming and full of advices. The breakfast is delicious and there is a full selection of both continental and Irish. The only set back is that the room on the ground floor is on the street and it can be noisy at night time.... We arrived in the middle of a driving rainstorm, but Chrissy had us inside drying out with tea and biscuits in no time. She and Tom always put on a team breakfast to send us out for a day's walkabout. Nothing is too far away in Kinsale and we walked to Charles Fort, to pubs for music and dance performances... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the B & B and loved it. The hosts are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great selection for breakfast and always cooked just perfectly. Parking is on the street and did not seem to be a problem getting it. Easy walk to the town centre.... More

After a long drive out of Dublin through the traffic nightmare of the city of Cork, we made it to Kinsale and found the Olde Bakery B&B. Tom and Chrissie Quigley are amazing hosts, very personable and both love to visit. They put out a terrific spread in the morning for breakfast, lots of choices. Tom (a retired Garda detective)... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Olde Bakery. It was clean, quite and the location was perfect with only a short walk to town center. Chrissie our host was friendly and very helpful with recommendations on things to do and places to eat. And, her sense of humor was delightful. The breakfasts were cooked to order and were delish.... You feel like you're staying with a favorite aunt and uncle. Chrissie and Tom are gracious hosts who make you feel very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the kitchen, where you are able to meet fellow travelers and share some conversation. The breakfast spread is over the top and the food is good. The room we had was spacious and... More
