This B&B is an old bakery dating back to WWI were it was used to bake bread for the troops. Very charming rooms with each one decorated differently. The owners Tom & Chrissie were very accommodating. We ate breakfast in the kitchen/eating area while they prepared it....the scones were to die for.

We stayed at the Old Bakery for two nights on our tour of Ireland and found it to be a wonderfully pleasurable experience. Kinsale was a highlight of our trip and the folks at the Old Bakery were wonderful hosts. I’d never stayed at a BNB before so it was a bit different but our room was lovely, we had... More

The olde bakery is fantastic. Run by an older couple and in the middle of Kinsale. You are treated like family by the owners, even down to the communal breakfast in their kitchen! They make it right in front of you and you eat with the other guests at one table. We found it very homely. The rooms are en... More

The five of us spent the night at "The Olde bakery" - we requested three different rooms and got the top floor to ourselves, which was great - lots of space. Tom and Chrissie were lovely! warm and welcoming, provided us with valuable recommendations (dining and site-seeing).. oh, and breakfast was excellent :)

Tom and Chrissie Quigley - lovely people- my hub cap had fallen off our car- went to look at the damages in the light of day - and it was on the tire!!!- Tom had put it on over night - I hadn't even said anything to them about it. The breakfast was lovely - we parked right in front... More

I was traveling with a friend. We have received a lot of heat and love. Tom and his wife had prepared us a great breakfast and plenty of it. I shall remember them with great affection. I recommend with all my heart this b&b!

My wife and I spent two enjoyable evenings at the Olde Bakery early October. Our hosts, Tom and Chrissy were welcoming and friendly and provided excellent suggestions on dining options & visitor activities. Tom's travel directions out-smarted our GPS! Our room was clean, quiet, and, while somewhat small, more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast was delicious with many selections... More

Tom and Chrissie were awesome , warm and welcoming hosts. Chrissie prepared a large varied and delicious breakfast. Eating in their kitchen was homey and enjoyable with Chrissie discussions of local events.

This experience was such fun. Husband and wife establishment. She was exploding with personality and entertainment while we ate breakfast in her kitchen. The room was small yet clean and tidy. Great location!

The ground floor of this b & b is the hosts day-to-day living room, which is dirty, dusty, cluttered and had the absolute worst wet dog stench ever! I love dogs, but this was absolutely overwhelming and disgusting! We arrived to find Tom sitting in the dark watching his TV with the volume blasting -- when he opened the door... More
