This was a great find for us on our tour of Southern Ireland. A wonderful BnB at the top of the hill before going down to Kinsale. We were welcomed with tea and cookies to a warm comfortable stay. Very clean room. A full Irish Breakfast sent us on our way well rested from a quiet stay.

All the B&B's during our trip in Ireland were great but this was my favorite. Once you arrive (following a harrowing drive through the narrow streets of Kinsale) you are able to tell instantly that the proprietors take great care & pride in their home. The landscaping is beautiful and the inside of the home is immaculate. It has features... More

Spent two nights in the Woodlands with my family, 7 adults and 8 children. We were made feel so welcome by the owners. We were shown our rooms on arrival they were immaculate, spacious and spotless. I had the best nights sleep, forgot I wasn't in my own bed. The breakfast menu was outstanding, what a selection. The hot chocolate... More

My wife and I just spent a night while on a 10 day trip through Ireland. This place was immaculate. Very clean from the gardens to the rooms. It was just a short walk into town and in was a very quaint village. We ate at an Italian pizza place and the flat bread pizza was terrific. The room was... More

My husband and I stayed at this B and B with our two little girls ages 8 months and 2 years old. My husbands parents also stayed. I called in advanced and booked two rooms and forgot to say that we would have the babies with us, I presumed it wouldn't be a big issue. As soon as we arrived... More

My family and I spent only one night at Woodlands but had a lovely time. Valerie and Brian were wonderful hosts and breakfast was amazing! Our room was spacious and comfortable. The house is a short walk to the beautiful city of Kinsale. Would definitely recommend to others visiting the area.

We spent 2 nights in Woodlands. The rooms were hotel quality. But what beats any hotel was the breakfasts. Made to order with beautiful homemade brown bread. The owners were very friendly. It was a few minutes walk into the main town but very quite area for a peaceful nights sleep. We will be back .

Comfortable room and delightful situation on a hill within easy walking distance(minutes) to Kinsale shops and seafront. Brian and Valerie run the B&B with grace and efficiency; they are each charming and wonderful hosts. They were very helpful in suggesting other places nearby to visit. Breakfast was wonderful as well; our best in Ireland. We stayed two nights.

Welcoming hosts Valerie and Brian made our stay positive. We had a large room, scenic and quiet area about 8 minutes walk from historic town of Kinsale (downhill) and great breakfast with a wide choice on offer. Valerie greeted us with tea in the lounge, explained various good places to visit and how to get there, gave us maps and... More

Very nice B&B in a beautiful house. We had a clean and spacious room. A huge selection of tasty breakfast awaits you in the morning. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The beautiful city centre is in walking distance.
