I really enjoyed my weekend here. The rooms are lovely and spacious and ours was an ensuite. It was also extremely clean and welcoming, we received lovely coffee/tea and biscuits when we arrived. My husband, 4 year old son, and I had an lovely stay with Valerie and her husband. The house is charming; a new construction gingerbread-style house. The Woodlands House is a newer house, but I didn't get the feeling of "luxury" that some of the previous reviewers mentioned. Our room was very cramped.
