My mother and I stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. John was a very welcoming and helpful host; he secured a reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant, Fishy Fishy. Breakfast was delicious, and the views are indescribably beautiful. Would recommend, and hope to stay again soon,

This has the most amazing views and a great welcome from john. Our rooms were airy and comfortable not the most glamorous but there were compensations in the great sitting room we were able to use. Breakfast was served in the room with the view and fresh scones, bread and amazing pancakes were on the menu, my father had seconds!... More

We stayed for one night last week and would have stayed more but unfortunately the place was fully booked so we were lucky to have just the one night,. Excellent rooms and good views of Kinsale harbour high up on compass hill, which also has a really good circular walk of about 40 minutes. also ideal for going into town... More

We stayed for one night only mores the pity. Was greeted by the friendly golden Labrador (nice touch!) and then shown to our lovely room with balcony looking out over the beautiful garden and beyond Kinsale Harbour. What a gorgeous place in Ireland. Delicious buffet breakfast on top of full Irish breakfast. Gentle Gracious Irish service. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for just one night (would have liked longer). A lovely view from the fabulous dining room - didn't want to leave! Bedroom linen and bed was really comfortable - our room was a little small though .. not a king size - understandable perhaps as we were only there for one night.. however Wi-Fi access was really... The host, John, was very gracious and tentative, the room had everything from great WiFi (strong enough to watch Netflix on iPad), hair dryer, king bed with all white clean bedding, tea/coffee in room, beautiful views from the room of the Harbour and lovely hot made to order breakfast. Much better than a hotel stay-memorable, only draw back is small... More

We spent a wonderful night in Kinsale and this b&b certainly contributed to the overall experience. It is the lovely place, the magnificent room and John's warm hospitality that make it all so excellent. In short, it is highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in June for two nights and it was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in during our trip in Ireland. The room itself was gorgeous, with a huge window that looked upon the most amazing view of the water and hills. The room was very comfortable, clean and modern. John was a great... More
