We have been visiting Kinsale for the last 10 years, and have stayed in a number of places until we came upon the Old Presbytery and now its the only place we would consider staying in. Firstly the location is perfect, just a minutes walk from the town. Phil & Noreen are perfect hosts, providing us with lots of tried... more

Kinsale is one of our favourite places in Ireland to visit & this was our second stay in The Old Pres. The location is absolutely perfect. You are a 2 minute walk from all of the cafes/bars & resturants. The owners are what make this place. They, and their daughters, are unbelievably friendly & helpful. The place itself is great.... more

The Old Presbytery is a well run, nice small hotel that's in a very good location in a great Irish town. We stayed in the "penthouse suite" which is a bit of a misnomer. A small bit, it's nice mind you, but not exactly the penthouse. I guess considering the locale, it's kind of a pun. Other reviews are pretty... more

First of all my apologies! This review should have been written sooner, my stay was in March this year! Anyway, What a great stay we had! 5 nights in the most wonderful homely surroundings and pleasant company (including the guest house cat). The property is 2 minutes walk from the town, so the situation is ideal. Charming room with a... more

Old Presbytery is a wonderful find!!! Phil and Noreen are warm, welcoming hosts and the location is perfect for exploring lovely Kinsale. Our room was really nice...large and very clean, even had a small balcony overlooking the car park. Which, by the way, the car park is a great advantage...Kinsale's streets are narrow and twisty and parking is at a premium,... more

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Presbytery. Upon arrival our room was upgraded by the B&B host to a room with a beautiful view of Kinsale. Such an unexpected nice surprise. Our room was absolutely charming...with antiques spread throughout. The B&B is located in the heart of Kinsale...absolutley perfect location. You can easily walk to all of Kinsales... more

The Old Presbytery was one of the nicest B&B-type establishments we've stayed in. It's right in the center of town, walkable to the harbor and all restaurants. But, on a fairly quiet side street without any pubs, so there were no noise issues. The breakfast was amazing; as with most places we stayed in Ireland they had both fresh eggs... more

B&B is located in a great area and allows you to walk everywhere in Kinsale. The breafast was very good and the service good plus the hotel provides for private parking and has free internet access. All in all a good deal. You should be able to get 10% off if you pay cash. more

The road in front of the Old Presbytery was being repaired and a new water line installed during our stay. However, the owners were pleasant and worked around the inconvenience. The rooms were clean. Best B&B breakfast we had during our trip. They do provide plenty of food and the "catch of the day" was wonderful. Cute dining room with... more
