Kinsale was a lovely town, rich with history and character. The Old Presbytery was perfect. The owners Noreen and Phillip were very helpful and pleasant. The place was clean and quiet, the rooms quite spacious. The view we had in our room was breathtaking. The food was excellent and we couldn't have asked for more. Parking was just so easy... More

My husband and I went to Kinsale for a night over the Kinsale Jazz Festival weekend and stayed in this splendid guesthouse owned and run by Noreen and Philip McEvoy. It was most luxurious and very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was out of this world with plenty of variety. The town was buzzing with tourists. Overall it was a wonderful... More

If you're laying out a motor tour of Ireland, include a two night stay in Kinsale. One night was not enough to assimilate into the soul of the town. In our weeklong tour of the Emerald Isle, Kinsale was our favorite stop with its quaint town, plenty to do, and several authentic pubs with Irish music in the evening (just... More

We only had one night to spend in Kinsale. I wish we had the time for a week. The Old Presbytery provided a charming and comfortable room. The breakfast was among the very finest we tried in Ireland. Even though it was simply breakfast - the food was perfectly prepared and served in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Noreen and... More

We were in Kinsale for just one night ("more's the pity") in October and we stayed at the pretty Old Presbytery. The place is very sweet and well-maintained and cared for. Philip and Noreen, our hosts, are very friendly and accommodating. The Old Presbytery is a very cozy little place with tea brewing in the dining room, free DVDs in... More

Stayed here for one night in September while travelling around Cork. Noreen was so welcoming and pleasant and offered us tea/coffee etc on arrival. What a lovely place to stay with all comforts available in a house with such character. Breakfast was just gorgeous and such an array to choose from! Philip and Noreen are the perfect hosts. Unfortunately we... More

This B&B was recommended by a friend that had stayed there previously. Our group of nine stayed here one night and Noreen (& the B&B) was wonderful. Upon arrive (late afternoon) she went out of her way to get us hot drinks and snacks, including some delicious deserts. Unfortunately a couple folks in our group became ill and Noreen allowed... We were thrilled with our stay at the Old Presbytery. Philip and Noreen were the perfect hosts. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed the sun room and large balcony overlooking the city. I especially loved the jacuzzi tub after the cool days of sightseeing. It is a delightful, short walk to the harbor and all the great restaurants in... More
