What a delightful place. Close to the center but enough of a walk that you do not have the commotion. Very good hospitality and attention to all the small details. Comfortable and absolutely spotless rooms. But truth be told, I would stay here again just for the bread and scones. As many have written wonderful gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea... More

What a gem this was. Easy walk to the center and harbor of the charming town of Kinsale. The hosts Phillip and Noreen were gracious and welcoming. Amazing breakfasts prepared by Phillip. The daily special was a lovely fresh seafood assortment with eggs prepared to order. The menu was amazingly varied. The rooms are lovely and clean. The house was... More

I stayed here for just one night in March 2014 at the tail end of a trip to Ireland. This place was what one dreams of when thinking of the perfect B and B. First of all, the owners could not have been friendlier or more welcoming, in a low key but warm way. My room was extremely comfortable, nicely... More

We arrived late and checked out early but this is a fabulous little place in Kinsale. The rooms are beautifully appointed and ours even had a little balcony. The highest bed I've slept in, I almost needed a step up. Lovely breakfast, coffee on tap and little delicious cakes to tempt you. We'll definitely be back and next time for... More

You'll be sure of a warm welcome form Noreen and Philip McEvoy the owners of this quaint old place. Our room was nice and quiet. Breakfasts were inventive, with a yummy special each morning. Not to worry, the gigantic Irish Breakfast was also available. Philip's white chocolate and orange scones should be patented. they were the best I've ever tasted... More

We enjoyed everything about our stay in Kinsale. Wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was fantastic. Our room seemed new and very clean. Very friendly people. We highly recommend the walking tour at 9:15 AM.

We loved Kinsale. The people are friendly in this small town and we felt safe walking around enjoying the nightlife. The hotel is in a great location near to shopping and restaurants. We were able to park the car and walk everywhere. The room we had was very cluttered and had no air conditioning and it was too warm. It... More

We had a fabulous time in kinsale, this was a beautiful stay, rooms were so full of character with a great view of the town and harbour. We were made feel so welcome by the hosts and staff, the breakfast was a real treat, we really enjoyed the veg pancakes with goats cheese. You won't find a better place to... More

I was travelling solo on my first trip to Ireland in Late May and had not planned to visit Kinsale. A chat with some wonderful Kinsale locals who were holidaying in Dublin, convinced me I had to visit and I was fortunate enough to read about The Old Presbytery in a guide book. This excellent B&B (and Kinsale itself), turned... More

What a cute, romantic place. Right downtown. 2 minute walk to everything. Really friendly staff - some of the most if not THE most in all of our 1300 KM trip. The owner and her daughter were wonderful and witty. The breakfast cannot be beaten anywhere in Kinsale. Huge assortment of "pre-breakfast" buffet home made goodies - jams, jellies, scones,... More
