A well-kept and charming venue that was a one minute walk to the center of town. Free parking was provided in an interior courtyard. The breakfasts (e.g. eggs with crab and lobster, etc. etc.) were varied, delicious and creative. The wine and cheese at 4 PM was nice, as well. Kinsale is a pretty little village with many fine restaurants... More

This bed and breakfast in right in the heart of Kinsale and a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was wonderful and the service is kind and friendly. The owners directed us to all the best places to visit and had us attend the "Ghost Tour"--which we liked very much. As an example of the level of service, the owner... More

My wife and I recently stayed here for a couple of nights at the tail end of a 10 day vacation to Ireland. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Phillip & Noreen were great hosts and the room we stayed in (Room #7) was very comfortable and the amenities provided were very nice. The breakfast menu... More

Fabulous B&B in the middle of Kinsale. The room, breakfast, location, amenities - all superb. The small touches were fantiastic - especially snacks, wine & cheeses for afternoon tea in the dining room! Loved the stay here and will most definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Old world charm with wonderful hosts best describes this B&B. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and shown to a charming room at the top of the house No7. It was spotless and the bathroom was generous with a shower and bath. Between 4.30pm and 6pm guests can avail of tea/coffee with homemade scones or wine and cheese we availed... More

This was our favorite stop on our visit to Ireland. Our room was so comfortable and "homey" but with all the amenities you could ask for. The breakfast menu was incredible. Noreen was so helpful and friendly. I really felt like I was a guest in her home. I only wish that we had planned to stay in Kinsale longer... More

The Old Presbytery was our third stop in Ireland and had a lot to live up to after our first two stops. It delivered however, with very comfortable accommodation and superb breakfasts which, on one morning during our stay, included a daily special of scrambled or poached eggs with lobster, crab and ling. Philip and Noreen are very helpful hosts... More

Spent 30 days travelling all around Ireland and stayed in 15 different B&Bs and guesthouses. Many were very good but the Old Presbytery was the best! Everything you would expect from great accommodation: friendly, helpful hosts; central location; attractive, clean, comfortable room; added touches like chocolates, water in a glass bottle. But more as well: absolute gourmet breakfasts plus afternoon... More

It may be that because we had a superior king room, our experience was exceptional. We loved it! The bathroom was a very decent size and great shower! We slept like babies. Parking is a premium, and after a very chaotic entry into Kinsale, we allowed Philip to park it and just walked around during our time there. Our only... More

We were lucky to find accommodation at this very comfortable and friendly B&B. Travelling through Ireland with my husband and sister in law we had not booked and found ourselves in Kinsale in the middle of a sailing regatta. The tourist info suggested the Old Presbyterian and because they had had a cancellation they were able to accommodate us with... More
