One of the best B&B's we stayed at in all of Ireland. The Old Presbytery B&B hosted by Phillip and Noreen, was a great place to stay, terrific food, and an outstanding location. Very good accommodations, Phillip and Noreen mad their home fell like it was ours. A must stay while in Ireland.

Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 nights at The Old Presbytery. We loved this charming B&B in a great location with terrific breakfasts and afternoon snacks. Driving through town was a little tricky, but arriving at the private secure car park off the street made it worthwhile. Philip & Noreen were terrific hosts. We loved the wonderfully decorated rooms and... More

Called last minute after checking some websites and found this as a super nice place and good value. Better than anything shown on consolidater sites The owners are gems. Room was superb and bed was a pillow top mattress that was divine. Breakfast excellent with huge choices including seafood medley. Yum.

Room 6 is on the 3rd floor (no lift). King bed, small sun room, good size outdoor balcony with nice view. Centre of city. Easy walking. Wonderful hosts. Good off street parking. Nicely appointed bath.

We recently travelled most of the counties of Ireland during our stay and this B&B ranked as one of the top we stayed at in every category - location, room, service, food, parking. The breakfast has to rank as the best we had the entire trip because it had the most varied menu, executed with little touches that made it... More

We stayed here as we toured through Southern Ireland. The owners could not have been more helpful. Our original room was too big for us, but that was all that was available when we reserved. As soon as another room opened up, they kindly moved us without any work on our part. The breakfast is amazing. The second morning I... More

This hotel has some good points. It is an easy walk to main street Kinsale. There is parking on site. The breakfasts are very good. They had a good internet connection. The owners are very friendly and helpful. And they had good recommendations for local sites. But the room we had wasn't worth it. The bathroom has only been half... More

Dear Hunter.oz, Thank you for your review and your many positive comments regarding our location, breakfasts, parking and service. However, we were disappointed to read that your room was not to your taste. We are constantly improving our facilities but always in a way that is sympathetic to the era of the house. As you see from our website, we... More

Philip and Noreen just seem to effortlessly enjoy their job. This made us feel extremely comfortable. They really have a knack of making you feel at home. They were friendly and helpful without being 'in your face'. Everything was just lovely - food, room, views, location. We had a great time.

Spent two nights here in September of 2014. Wonderful lodging experience in a beautiful town. The building appears quite old but is well maintained. Our room on the 5th (?) floor was charming and very cozy. The bathroom was newer and that was much appreciated. Breakfasts were excellent (highly recommend the porridge). Innkeepers were kind enough to book dinner reservations... More
