Good staff; great location; very small rooms (smaller than the average Ireland/Scotland hotel room); unacceptably small bathroom; NO LIFT... and very narrow/difficult rise over run stairs you must carry all luggage; street noise is an issue as no AC and window MUST be open to have any chance of lowering the temperature (even in mid September). We don't know our exact price as it was included in an overall custom tour package we purchased. Beds were "OK".

NIce hotel at an excelent location in Kinsale. The service is very good, the beds are fine and it is quiet. Only downside is that the access is difficult with narrow and steep stairs to the rooms. Breakfast is great with a lot of different choises. But it is very costly: 195 Euro for 1 night!

We had a positive stay here for our stop in Kinsale. The staff was very friendly and kind and manager seemed to be everywhere, from the check in to the restaurant to the bar, he was a jack of all trades. There is a great little patio/bar area in the back of the hotel that is tucked away. Location is central to everything. The hotel being on the main street cause it to be very, very noisy since it is across and next to several bars and restaurants. Tough to get relief from the street noise since there is not air conditoning (common in many hotels in Europe) and you must have the windows open to get air in the room. So you have to compromise the Main Street location for the noise levels at night with the windows open to get air in the room, know that ahead of time. Bathroom is very small and the shower was similar to a motor home shower in size. Postives: staff is great, location is great Negatives: street noise level is high because windows need to be open due to no air conditioning, shower and bathroom are very small.

We stayed only for 1 night however wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were big and very comfortable and the staff so friendly. The guest house is right in the centre of town surrounded by lots of restaurants. We had the most amazing Irish breakfast, best we've had so far. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here

Excellent staff. Good service including the restaurant. Clean rooms. The garden close to the lobby is very nice. Helpful, polite employees and management. The hotel is only 20 minutes away by car or taxi from the city centre Meydan. Grrat for families and couples. The street is lively 24 hours, many restaurants, supermarkets, and money change places. Excellent experience.

Large room, king bed, good linens and pillows. Kinsale is a small town and the hotel is right in the middle, all the restaurants and pubs are within a few blocks. Breakfast in the attached restaurant with a menu. French toast was fab. Old building, freshly done inside. (no elevator)

Had Fish and Chips in the restaurant. Quality and quantity were average, we expected better for the price. A visit to the corridor leading to the toilets is worth a view as has lots of memorabilia relating to 9/11. There is a connection between the owners and the New York Fire Service.

Recommend hotel! Location is fantastic. There truly is power in kindness and we definitely benefited from kindness shown to us at The White House. Our trip had us emotionally drained due to a tragedy that sent one of our friends home immediately after arriving in Ireland. Then we received notice from an Inn, (had booked in May/paid), they canceled our reservation. There wasn’t a room available & we were still searching for a place to stay for one more night when Brian heard our story and they ended up finding us two rooms. The rooms were clean & comfortable and breakfast, included, was filling and delicious! Brian, Olivia, Aggie and other staff THANK YOU! Knowing we had a place to stay allowed us relax & salvage last days of our time in Ireland. We will find ways to pay it forward and hopefully return to stay again.

This hotel is located in the heart of Kinsale, The location is terrific and the little "Fairy door" is charming as well. The rooms in the front of the hotel were bright and spacious. My "single" was roomy but a bit darker in the back of the building.
