Amazing location for great value. Cafe was beautiful in morning for breakfast. This is all that is good about Irish tourism. Only negative is no parking included so had to use public car park. Will definitely be coming back!

The Old Bank House was a comfortable place to stay, right in the heart of Kinsale within walking distance of everything. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable with plenty of room. The breakfast in the morning was more than adequate to get us on our way sightseeing. It was a comfortable dining room that invited... More

We came with no reservations and the receptionist could not have been more helpful. She showed us different rooms and called around to see if a place we wanted to eat was open. The room was lovely and the location was great. I wish we would have had more time in Kinsale. A beautiful town!

Upon arrival at the Old Bank House on Saturday for my lovely romantic Valentine's weekend, I was informed by the receptionist there was no booking for me and additionally there was no room for me as they were full. I was asked to visit their other hotel (Blue Haven) to resolve the issue. The receptionist in the Blue Haven told... More

This was the best place we stayed while in Ireland. We tried the B and Bs as well as the large hotels, but this was centrally located in the town of Kinsale. It was small and we had to climb stairs, but the place had so much character and the bathroom was amazing. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. We just... More

From our trip to Ireland I fell in love with Kinsale and the fact that our stay at the Old Bank House was just perfect I have to say that I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting this lovely village. The room not only is spacious but it is also decorated in a very old fashioned but adorable way... More

I had booked with the Blue Haven so wasn't expecting to stay at the Old Bank. There had been a double booking at the hotel, so we were accommodated in the Old Bank instead. The experience started with a very warm welcome when I arrived. We discussed my plans for the evening, and various suggestions were made. I realised the... More

A small hotel with a cafe selling "gourmet foods", The Old Bank is an old building, full of charm with minimal facilities but all you need if you are touring all day. Do you really need a pool? I had room 4 which was at the front of the building and blessed with full length windows and high ceilings, letting... More
