Did not stay here but had breakfast two mornings running as it was so nice. Super service. Had the usual Irish breakfast. So tasty. Top quality ingredients - best black pudding I had in ages. Only two tips: If you order tea you get a nice pot. But ask for two teabags as they only put one in and tea... More

The rooms are not up to the Ritz but certainly good for a relaxing break in the lovely village of Kinsale. They are spacious, well maintained and have decent basic fittings (the TV is mediocre) , The hotel is "petite"and very calm with excellent breakfasts - so overall VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY The best part : the very friendly... Let me start by saying we are picky. That said we set our expectations reasonably considering this is a "guesthouse" and not a true hotel. Our expectations were more than met. The room was plenty large and very clean and comfortable. We were in room 8 on the front side corner of the building. The view was wonderful and we... More

My sister and I considered ourselves very fortunate to have been housed in this gorgeous property for one night as part of our 3 day Southeast Ireland coach tour. We were even luckier to be given the keys to one of the amazing suites in this very pleasant and cosy guest house. We have no hesitation whatsoever in strongly recommending... More

Cosy, clean accommodation and bang in the middle of what Kinsale has to offer in the way of pubs and restaurants. Excellent breakfast choice made to order, not buffet. Expect delay in checking out as staff also busy with serving breakfast. All in all, will consider staying at this hotel again.

I've reviews this lovely restaurant / deli previously but as it has improved in the intervening months I feel it's worth reviewing again. Friendly, welcoming & efficient staff. Orders taken promptly & cooked food served quite quickly. Open breakfast, through lunch as well as morning & afternoon teas. Delicious home baked scones. Small deli section just inside front door -... More

We decided to go to Old Head once we landed in Ireland and checked availability in Kinsale and settled on the Old Bank House. We stayed in room 18, the collection suite and it was simply delightful! It has a living room area, large bathroom and good sized bedroom and is located in the back away from any noise that... More

The Old Bank House was a great choice for downtown Kinsale. It was a perfect location to walk anywhere in town. The rooms were nice and spacious, largest bathroom in a B&B we had all week. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We ended up with a room on the top floor on the corner with nice views of Kinsale... More

What a beautiful place to stay. Location is perfect for going around Kinsale, reasonably priced considering I booked on the day. The bed was huge and there was even a pillow menu and blackout curtains! The shower could have been a little stronger but as we were at the top floor it's understandable. Very comfortable place to stay. I will... More

Great location, very friendly staff, excellent value for money on the deal we got from "bargain breaks" the breakfast and choice was excellent , the hotel restaurant is adjacent to the hotel and the food was lovely. Although there is no free parking at the hotel there is a free car park a few minutes walk away next to the... More
