Of the nine hotels my wife and I stayed over an eleven day period, this was far and away both of our favorites. Quaint spot. Large very comfortable beds. My wife took a long hot bath in the large bathtub. Great breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend.

I stayed here last night with the handsome Mr. Barry. We have stayed here on a number of occasions & keep coming back to the old bank house. The rooms are luxurious & very tastefully decorated ( obviously a very good interior designer fulfilled their commission), the beds are soooo comfy, the staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is... Everything was perfect. Room was clean and quiet and also nice and warm which was an enormous plus in the middle of December. Stayed on the top floor in the last room on the right, with the view of the hill rather than the water. Breakfast in bed also wasn't a problem just have to ask for it and fill... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in early April. Our corner room was bright and spacious and spotlessly clean. The large bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. We had daily maid service and towel change and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The Old Bank House is owned by the Blue Haven Hotel who... More

This was a trip we've planned for a long time, our booking agent error caused us to be shuffled, and the Old Bank Townhouse staff, and especially Cassandra, could not have been more helpful or more gracious! It twas such a terrific stay, the Inn is lovely, rooms are excellent, and breakfast top notch! It was a perfect place, location,... More

Visited Kinsale in March 2015. I had one of the front rooms in the hotel overlooking the town en harbour. Nice and sunny in the very large room in the afternoons. large bathroom /shower also very clean. Enjoyed my stay. Will visit Kinsale again and definitely stay in the Old Bank Hotel again.

We stayed only 1 night which is enough as there's not much to do in picturesque Kinsale. + hotel was in best location ++ Elaborate good breakfast Clean & cosy room but a bit antiquated - bad insulting, you hear the ones next door in the toilet - staff was o.k, no personal attention. (We didnt really mind) but its... More

We had two room at the Old Bank House. Mine was tiny, but acceptable. My daughter's was larger, but she had problems with the water pressure in the shower, no bottom sheet on her bed, and stained (blood?) curtains. Right from the start, I didn't feel good about the place. We had to check in at the Blue Haven Hotel... More

We visit Kinsale frequently as, along with Dingle (too far), it is one of the nicest towns in Ireland. Gateway to beautiful scenery in West Cork (Wild Atlantic Way), great pubs and restaurants and a perfect break for a few days. We have stayed in a number of places there and booked the Townhouse through Hotels.com at €70 per room... More
