I saw this hotel listed as one of the best ones in Kinsale on Tripadvisor, but we weren't arriving until after 11pm so I wasn't sure if we should just stay in Cork where more things might be open. Luckily I took the Aer Lingus Stewardess' advice (literally) and went straight from Cork Airport to Kinsale at that hour, and... more

We enjoyed our trip to Kinsale and were glad we decided to listen to reviews here and book the Blue Haven. The lack of parking was annoying but we found something a few blocks away and only had a few small bags to lug up the two flights. The lady at the front desk was AMAZING. She gave us turn... more

The town of Kinsale is a knockout beauty with wonderful sea views and excellent shopping. Although our stay at Blue Haven was pleasant, it didn't quite live up to our expectations...especially for the price of our stay. Rooms had windows that didn't quite fit their frames, so as a result, thay remained quite drafty despite radiator heating. Furniture was a... more

Right in town center, great little walking town and Blue Haven did not disappoint. We had a small, nice but small room on the second floor over looking the main road which was a blessing and a curse. Blessing b/c we were able to watch the Cannonball Rally go through town from our room sitting on one of the 2... more

We had a lovely stay at the Blue Haven. It's in the center of town but is very quiet (the town shuts down except for a few pubs by 9 pm). The front desk persons were polite, friendly, and helpful. We had a sumptuous breakfast for 3 days so we were perplexed at the lack of quality of dinner, which... more

A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location in the town. From the start we were greeted by a very friendly helpful professional receptionist. The room was a good size and although we were overlooking the street front we had no problems at all with any street noise. The food and service in Blu restaurant was fabulous, it certainly set... more

I wanted to express how great my experience was at The Blue Haven Hotel. The moment I arrived i was treated with excellent service from Marguerite at the front desk, having numerous questions. The hotel is in the heart of Kinsale and a real Gem to visit being right in the action. I would "Highly" recommend anyone staying in Kinsale... more

Really nice hotel and had the most comfortable bed I have ever been in, king size and all. Room was lovely, only negative thing was the noise from the supermarket across the street. They seem to be pulling the shutters up and down all night, loading or unloading, and staff seem to gather outside (directly across the road from the... more
