Recently my sister and I took my mum to the Blue Haven for a mini break, we had a great time. The hotel couldn't do enough for us to make the whole trip a lovely occasion. The rooms were quaint and roomy, the food was excellent and most of all the staff at this hotel are friendly and so helpful.... more

The Blue Have is ideally located in the center of town...no views of the the marina however its only 1 minute walk away. Melissa and Ashely at the front desk are extremely helpful and give you great tips on where to eat and enjoy after dinner craic! ironically they are the epitomy of irish hospitality however neither is irish! Rooms... more

Had a wonderful night at this excellent central hotel. Lovely touches in room like Moulton Brown toiletries! Staff were very very helpful and went to a lot of trouble when we discovered the bath plug was missing. Maureen on reception deserves special mention for going the extra mile and phoning through to book us a hotel in Dublin 2 days... more

We had a lovely visit in the Blue Haven hotel. It is right on the main street in Kinsale and as such is extremely convenient. There is no elevator and no parking but they had a gentleman help us with our bags, and they suggested a lot to park in. Luckily, we arrived late in the day and were able... more

I did a lot of research on many places while planning several different places to stay in Ireland for a 10 day vacation. Looking for a place in Kinsale, I kept coming back to the Blue Haven. It's a GREAT PLACE! The location is right in the middle of town (only downside to that is that you have to load/unload... more

We stayed in the Blue Haven Hotel for a saturday night. It is a really lovely hotel in a great location in the town. We found all the staff to be very accomodating and made us feel very welcome indeed. The superior room we thought was lovely and all had individual names on them. The rooms were really clean and the... more

I stayed in this hotel for a weekend at the beginning of September. The staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival. We booked a deluxe room, which was fairly big, although the decoration was a little jaded. The breakfast was excellent, that was the only meal we ate in the hotel, as there are so many lovely restaurants in... more

My wife and I decided to take a well earned few days away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin to the charmed seaside town of Kinsale. As usual we weren't very organised ,with no accommodation booked, but when we had lunch in the bar we knew that this was the hotel for us. The staff were very helpful. The... more

Recently stayed at the Bluehaven for 2 nights and found it wonderful. We too were upgraded to a superior room on arrival and had a lovely roof terrace off our room and had a chance to enjoy a glimpse of fine weather! The rooms aren't very big but fine, clean, nicely decorated and the bathrooms are lovely. The hotel downstairs... more

Excellent all round I stayed here for a 2 night break including dinner. Hotel has an excellent location in the centre of the town. There is no car park but staff were helpful in recommending spaces around the town where parking was free. Our room was located on the first floor, we were upgraded for free which was great, as... more
