I am a current customer at Jo's café! I always stop buy for a hot chocolate and a cake. Recently in Jo's there has been a new worker and any time I would buy from Jo's she would always end up giving me the wrong change.... I would understand if she would do it once or twice from mistake but... More

Jo's Café and Rooms are fabulous. Downstairs, you can easily eat your way through the bakery counter as everything is spot on delicious! The scones are to die for. Love the white chocolate raspberry ones! On my last day in Kinsale tried the raspberry one on its own and that was great too! The cinnamon buns are fantastic. Really gooey.... More

Loved visiting Jo's Cafe today. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and delicious desserts. We went twice today 'cos we liked it so much. The gluten free orange spice cake was yummy. Plan to go back tomorrow!

Very much enjoyed my stay here and the cafe downstairs was wonderful. I also could not have been more welcomed and cared for by the staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Hats off to Jo's! ~Gregory

Returned here as it was several months since my previous visit & if anything it was even better this time than last - don't know how you improve on excellence but somehow Jo's manages to do it. Excellent Earl Grey served very attractively & accompanied by the most delicious raspberry & mile chocolate tart ever...... Great ambience; friendly staff; lovely... More

Thank you so much for your kind comments. It has been a busy season and it is so lovely to hear such positive feedback at the end of it. Ps. It took me a lot of tweeking to get the flavours in that tart just right especially because it's white chocolate, but it is one of my favourite too... More

We stayed at Jo's back in June, it was awesome. Jo might be the nicest person in Ireland, and for the Irish that would be quite a title (they are all pretty nice). The location was perfect, the cafe is awesome. You will not be upset if you stay here.

Jo's accommodations was quite lovely. The room was clean and newly renovated It was small, but quite adequate for me to stay the week. The bedding was fanatic! And how "homey" it was to awaken to homemade cinnamon rolls enticing from the cafe below. I recommend Jo's as a great place to experience Kinsale.

Went back to Jo's today. Didn't think it could improve on last time but it did! Best cup of coffee in Kinsale and today Jo brought out her latest creation- a Viennese Opera cake. Even though we had already gobbled cinnamon roll and pistachio meringue we had to try this confection. Needless to say it did not disappoint.

I had a lovely stay at Jo's in August. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable, and the delightful cafe downstairs gave me a good excuse to have a pastry each morning. The location was perfect for exploring Kinsale. I want to thank Jo especially for her hospitality. My luggage was late in joining me, and Jo kindly lent me... More

Jo's rooms are very modest; however, the location simply can't be beat in Kinsale. Also, Jo is a very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are over the cafe, and the aroma of fresh baked goods early in the morning is a great way to start the day.
