It is very hard to say something bad about a place that if you are hungry and you hunger is sorted, then it's good, lovely young lady served us, wasn't a rip off, happy with everything. Thanks very much Jo's

A small, basic room at amazing value, with everything you need to rest your head. It is clean with a very comfortable ensuite room right in the heart of Kinsale. The hot chocolate downstairs in the cafe has to be tried to be believed. Highly recommend.

Jo's is right on a main street, but that's not a problem since the street quiets down at about 10. Our room was cheap and clean. The bathroom was tight. I'm 5'4" and had to sit sidewise on the toilet. But we had coffee in the cafe and brought desert and pastries back to our room. Slept great!

We tried Jo's rooms after reading Rick Steves book. I'm sure Rick hasn't seen the place. It was cheap, just 45e but at this we considered it overpriced. The shower had mold on the ceiling and the toilet didn't allow room for legs to sit and we aren't big people. The bathroom door didn't fit so didn't close. We booked... More

My husband went here for a snack while I was in a nearby shop and loved it! I had a bite of the cake and it was way better than other Irish chocolate cake varieties we've tried. Notably, we have no idea what the rooms are like ;-)

Stayed one night in room 1. Everything was clean and bright. The room is small but very charming and the large windows overlook the quaint rooftops of Kinsale. The best part was waking up in the overwhelming smells of fresh baked goods. We left the window open and the room filled with smells of cinnamon and chocolate. The cafe downstairs... More

Recently got take away hot chocolates and croissants from Jo's. They were excellent as usual. The hot chocolate is made using real chocolate so it's beautifully rich and creamy. The cakes are all homemade and the scones look amazing. It's Would highly recommend treating yourself to one!

We were happy with Jo's Rooms. I was traveling with my teenage son and daughter; Jo gave us two cheerful, clean rooms for a great price, each with a private bath. The location was an easy walk to the town center. Also we enjoyed excellent coffee and breakfast downstairs at Jo's. My only complaint is that I had a hard... More

The rooms are bright, extremely clean and spacious for a great rate. I had breakfast in the cafe every morning and it was fantastic! The best scones I have ever had. The owner is very kind and hospitable. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to kinsale.

I visit the cafe regularly for my hot chocolate treat. They have delicious homemade baking by Jo. Personally, I have to have great willpower to resist for the sake of my waistline. :-) I have tried the gluten free chocolate brownies that my kids love. I have enjoyed lunch there also. Coffee lovers go here for their coffee fix. She... More
