We stayed at the San Antonio at the recommendation of another B&B owner we contacted whose property was already full. Jimmy is a fantastic host, the San Antonio is a wonderful old house in great condition and perfectly located near the heart of Kinsale restaurants, pubs and shops. We were within a short walk of nearly everything and Jimmy's recommendations... More

A wonderful host, immaculate rooms, fabulous breakfast, and a terrific location. Jimmie is the finest of hosts and keeps his establishment clean, warm, and inviting. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend San Antonio.

Jimmy is a very nice host, and the B&B is very close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Breakfast was good. Our only complaint was the noise at night. Being close to the pubs, we had issues both nights we were there.

We stayed at San Antonio B&B in late May 2015. San Antonio is in an ideal location - very close to the shops, bars, and restaurants, but a few blocks away so it is quiet. There is a car park right in front of the house. The house was built in 1790 and is lovely. The proprietor, Jimmie Conron, is... More

In a lovely slate-shingled 18th century building, this was the cutest darn B&B of our stay in Ireland. The location is right downtown, but quiet, and with parking reserved for guests. Our room was a nice size, the bed was very comfortable and the bath was great. Breakfasts were very good. Our host Jimmie is funny, warm, erudite and helpful,... More

What a wonderful host Jimmie is... From the moment of booking, to lots of practical suggestions and answers to myriad questions before arrival and excellent breakfasts, we could not have asked for more!! Our rooms were a good size and well appointed. San Antonio is close to the centre but in a quieter street with pubs and restaurants within easy... More

Kinsale is a beautiful town with great entertainment: fort, castle, museum, harbor, and pubs. However, what made it a memorable visit was our host, Jimmy, and his warm, welcoming, helpful nature to this comfortable home. If you are looking for fancy glitz, look somewhere else. If you appreciate an interested and smiling face to welcome you and a clean and... More

In addition to all the other comments about Jimmy, He calls everyone by name. I left a shirt behind and Jimmy sent it to me in Canada and wouldn't hear of me compensating him for his out of pocket. Every now and then in life you meet a really nice person who genuinely wants to add to the occasion, that's... More

Jimmy makes you feel right at home at his B & B. In addition to making the absolute best recommendations for food, Irish music, and so forth, he went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed. One of the best things about this B & B is the free parking (many other lodgings we tried would... More
