This review is long overdue as I have stayed here a number of times over the last ten years. The owner Jimmy treats every guest as part of the family - royalty. He is a wealth of information and is always on hand to provide any assistance. The location is perfectly postioned at the back of the town near to 'Desmond... More

Well before arriving with my wife for a four day stay at San Antonio, e-mail exchanges made it obvious that Jimmie Conron, a musician when not inn-keeping, was not your every day B&B owner. On arrival we felt welcomed into the home of a longtime friend, and his advice on restaurants, sightseeing, music venues, pubs, and his knowledge of local... More

Jimmy makes you feel so welcome. I look forward so much to knowing how well looked after we'll be. Right in the heart of Kinsale and yet so quiet and relaxing. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kinsale

Stayed here recently and really enjoyed it. Jimmie is such a good host and makes an excellent breakfast even tried his porridge and really liked it. This place is in a nice quiet town and Jimmie really goes out of his way to make sure everybody enjoys their stay at his bed and breakfast.

We loved Kinsale and would liked to have stayed all four days of our allotted time at the San Antonio but couldn't get all four nights. This is a very popular bed and breakfast for very good reasons. The room for three at the top was very comfortable and homey. I loved the view of the town and the neighboring... More

If you really want a taste if Irish hospitality, this is the place to stay. Jimmie is such a thoughtful and genuine host, making sure that all your needs are met. Our room was comfortable, quiet and right it the heart of quaint, historic Kinsale. Jimmie made us feel like we lived here. A great stay!

San Antonio B&B is in central Kinsale, walking distance to everything, yet quiet for sleeping. It is located in a lovely 200 year old house that the host, Jimmie, grew up in. He has lovingly restored the home. It is tastefully decorated and is clean and uncluttered. Someone else commented that the rooms were simple and that's true, but they... More

The location was very central in Kinsale with easy access to parking. Jimmie was a very welcoming and helpful host. He gave me lots of good tips of where to go and what to see. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone coming to this cute coastal town!

This is a wonderful B&B right in the heart of Kinsale. The owner, Jimmie, was SO welcoming and helpful. It is located on a quiet street just up from the heart of Kinsale and so everything is nearby but it's just that little bit away so it's quiet for sleeping. He gave us so many great recommendations for pubs and... More
