A real farmhouse experience with Noreen the perfect host! Excellent local knowledge and many stories to tell! Lovely breakfasts with homemade jams/bread...all beautifully presented. We stayed two nights and all felt very 'at home' here. Thank you Noreen. Phil, Lesley, Neill & Mary.

Noreen greeted us on arrival with tea or water and biscuits. She had lots of knowledge of the local area which was helpful. We had a large room more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. We would recommend for a short break away.

We stayed for 3 nights at Duvane House and could not have felt more welcome. From the tea and homemade currant bread when we arrived, Noreen and Rensie went out of their way to make sure we wanted for nothing. The family room was lovely and comfortable, with many thoughtful extras such as bottled water. We could have enjoyed the... More

It would be unfair to let this opportunity pass without praising this excellent experience with Noreen and Rence in their beautiful home. It was an honour to stay there. They were lovely people and attentive hosts.

We found the Duvane House in a B and B guide while traveling. We wanted the beautiful, quiet, farmhouse experience. Noreen welcomed us and got us settled. She made us tea and gave us tips and pointers about the area. The house is beautiful and Noreen is so sweet. The gardens are so pretty and she told us about many... More

I loved staying with Noreen and her husband. She is an older lady with more energy than folk half her age! The georgian house was built, as mentioned in other reviews, as a summer house for a Bishop. The amazing fact is that the house has remained in the family since the death of the Bishop, and the beautiful antique... More

You will be in for a treat at Duvane House. It's a charming Victorian home built by a bishop in 1780 as his summer home. Gorgeous antique furniture. A delightful, chatty, elderly hostess. She recommended O'Donovan's for dinner- good choice. Indulge in the signature beer of County Cork- Murphy's Stout. Stop at Imperial Hotel bar for nightcap. Our traveling companion's... More

Our party of seven adults stayed for four nights over Easter. Noreen and Rensie are very warm and welcoming hosts and the farmhouse is clean, warm and very comfortable. It also has a sitting room just for guests, which is lovely. We arrived late afternoon and having shown us to our delightful rooms, Noreen rustled up tea and homemade fruit... More

Lovely old farm house, it is an old house but it is, warm and clean with a very welcoming host and a great little breakfast. It is located just outside Clonakilty, our taxi ride home in the evening was €8
