Firstly, this is about 10 minutes drive outside town so if you don't mind that, all is good! This is a really friendly family-run home, anything you need to know or do is no problem for Norma. We had a great chat about farming and my job and it is truly lovely to find someone who actually enjoys the work... More

A trip to Ard Na Greine feels like a trip home. Norma welcomed my group of 8 with open arms...and freshly-baked buns and tea. Despite only staying for one night, the farmhouse provided much-needed respite for us city girls. I can't remember the last time I slept so well. The highlights, for me, were an early morning walk to visit... More

Norma went out of her way to accommodate our large group of 8 and was incredibly welcoming and helpful (helping with route planning, arranging taxis etc.) Breakfast was fantastic and we were encouraged to help ourselves to freshly baked scones and soda bread to take with us for the road on our departure. Highly recommended.

Our family of 4 stayed at Ard Na Greine one night -- but also arranged with Norma ahead of time to come for dinner the evening of our stay. The whole experience was just wonderful. Norma is such a delightful, warm hostess--and her cooking is simply delicious! Dinner was amazing--pork and lamb with all the trimmings and topped off with... More

Our stay with Norma was a wonderful experience. We had tea and scones on our arrival. The view over the hills form the house was spectacular. The wonderful breakfast included a to- go bag for scones as a snack. Norma was great with suggestions for outings and directions - saved us a lot of time.

I was traveling alone, so it was so nice to be greeted when I arrived with tea and scones! Norma took the time to ask me where I wanted to go and even had some suggestions of places to visit. She talked to me for a while, and it was nice to have someone interested in their guests. Breakfast was... More

Tight quarters but in the country! Beautiful surrounding landscape but smell of cows over powering at times. We arrived when "the wife" wasn't home and husband greeted us then disappeared. Breakfast was amazing! Norma was very accommodating to our dietary needs and offered good info regarding our next destination.

Norma is a sweet woman who served us hot tea and fresh scones by the fireside while she sat with us and a map to help us decide what to do the next 2 days we were with her. The rooms were large and airy with great views of her farmland and country side. The breakfast choices were abundant for... More

One of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Norma is a most welcoming host and really could not do enough for her guests supported by her team of two smiling girls and the unique welcome by Benson the dog who led us from the car into the house. We stayed for 2 nights and left feeling like we had... More

My husband and I stayed with Norma one night in May of this year. We were so lucky she had room. We were visiting Kinsale and Clonakilty and were a little slack booking ahead. One B&B owners called another and we eventually got Norma's number. We lucked out. She met us up the road so we could follow her to... More
