We received the warmest welcome and wished we could stay longer than one night - however I would have gained a lot of weight eating all the delicious fayre on offer if we had! Definitely a place to return to.

This Band B is situated in the countryside with some lovely views. Norma works so hard to provide her guests with a true Irish welcome. She provides freshly brewed coffee and home made scones on arrival. The house is warm and comfortable and very clean. There is no TV in rooms but there is a TV room available. She also provides... The room was fine and comfortable, breakfasts were excellent and Norma is the most helpful and accommodating hostess you could ask for. She provided us with a great home-cooked meal on our first evening - it was like a Christmas dinner! She suggested great beaches in the area when the weather was good and also had suggestions for sightseeing and... More

Stayed here one night after bad experience at another B&B sent us hunting for a replacement. Most fortunate that Norma had an opening, and we had a wonderful time. She welcomed us with tea and fresh scones, warm surroundings, and the setting on the hill was breathtaking. Had to have the bad to appreciate the good. A stormy night, but... More

This was the highlight B&B experience of our two week trip to the Irish West with my sister and brother-in-law. Originally we planned to stay only one night in the Clonakilty area, but the setting was so incredible that we asked Norma Walsh, our hostess, if we could stay a second night. She is so accommodating that I wish we... More
