One of the best places to stay when in Clonakilty. Brend and Dennis and the staff are pleasant and friendly and unobtrusive. The b and b rooms are spacious, spotless and so quiet. Breakfast is enormous. The house is historic and associated tho not directly physically connected with a delightful bar and restaurant of the same name right in downtown... More

Nice atmosphere, good but pricey seafood, starters small portions. Not the best eating option in Clonakilty but worth visiting when you have already explored other options. Very pleasant staff and service.

I stayed here for 1 night this week and was very pleased with my choice of accommodation in Clonakilty. My double room was spacious, clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. Check-in is in the bar next door and this did not take long. An Sugan is perfectly situated in the heart of the town and within walking distance of... More

Wonderful place to stay. Good sized clean room with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with good choice of food. Denny provided great service and has a brilliant sense humour. The resturant has great food - can recommend the deep fried Gubeen Cheese. Definitely recommend this B&B

Over all a very good place to stay in. Very willing to assist you in your needs. Food is excellent and staff do not hover. You are left to enjoy your time and meal. Small few things could do with an upgrade. Like the menu in the room and the carpet is due an upgrade soon. Other than that no... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious and clean. Also nice & quiet - just off the main road so no noise from street, but close to the rest of town Shower thermostat needs to be checked as water was a little luke warm (bit better 2nd day). Full cooked breakfast each day was really good with the famous... More

Thank you for your excellent review and for staying with us. We greatly appreciate your feedback and will address the water issue (the tweaking in old buildings can be tricky!). Clonakilty black pudding is also one of our favourite delights on the menu and we are so lucky to have such high calibre food right here so close to home!... More

I spent 5 nights here on a social visit to Clonakilty. Despite it's central location just off the main thoroughfare, this B & B is quiet and restful. The guesthouse is very well managed, immaculately clean and the staff are attentive and responsive. The breakfast includes interesting choices as well as the usual "full Irish". As a vegetarian, however, it... More
