The B&B is nicely decorated and furnished with some lovely old pieces. It has a comfortable lounge area where the wifi router is situated so you can take your laptop or whatever in there if you need to for the free internet. Breakfasts were lovely, using local produce, though can't think where they grow the oranges for the 'Clonakilty Orange... More

Was staying in the area and we were recommended to eat here. Service and food was very good, the only thing that disappointed me was that the atmosphere was somewhat lacking. Reminded me of being back in school but overall a good experience and would definitely return.

Have noted the less than impressed comments from others about this accommodation, but I have to say that just wasn't the case for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again. Stayed here as part of a group going to a wedding in nearby Inchydoney. The room was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was seriously good... More

This a funny place... It has all the ingredients to be a great B&B but just isn't quite. The room was very quaint - sort of nestled in the eaves, with a very comfortable bed. Very pleasant, though it wasn't particularly clean. I found numerous dark hairs in the bed and the bathroom needed a little more care. Breakfast was... More

We had many problems with our stay here, the customer service was atrocious but my main concern was the state of the room! The pillow on our bed was so stained and disgusting, I slept with a towel over it! Well I tried to sleep but the room was so hot and loud that I instead spent my time waiting... More

Thank you for your review. We have brought your concerns to the attention of the staff. Alas it absolutely falls on us, the management , to oversee the cleanliness of the accomodation and we failed on this occasion. We will put measures in place to rectify these issues and have better quality control. More

A very cosy pub, located in a very busy town. Good selection of fish dishes, we had monkfish and a fish pie, really was very good. All sides are extra and the eating or drinking area is really quite small, but our server Denis got us a nice table and looked after us very well.

In town for a family wedding, we chose the B&B over the local hotels mainly due to its historic links. My husband and I stayed 4 nights in room 1, located on the first floor and overlooking the front. There was no warning that the high street was under repair and all the traffic (including large lorries) trundled past the... More

The B&B (which is next to the pub) was in darkness when we arrived so we went to the pub and were greeted by a very helpful member of staff. He knew who we were (as we were the only guests arriving with a child) and immediately stopped what he was doing and showed us to our room and was... More
