I have stayed at the hotel on a few occacions, with and without the family. They have gone out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. For breakfast upon request they would prepare off menue... More

I am not usually one to write reviews but this hotel definitely deserves one! Only one word can describe this place - SUPER!!! I first stayed in this hotel in June as a corporate guest. I felt very welcome from the moment I stepped inside the door. I was greeted at the reception desk by a lovely friendly lady (the... More

The female owner/manager is the rudest, most ignorant woman that I have ever dealt with. 17 of us ordered breakfast in the hotel and she tried to charge €10 for one slice of toast and some scrambled egg. A hair was found in one of the girls breakfast and, when pointed out, the manager brushed it off and said it... More

Felt unwanted! Then on setting... More

We stayed in The Clonakilty Hotel recently ...while the hotel itself is spotless in all areas & the staff were friendly & courteous the decor of the hotel needs updating...with the bathrooms in particular needing immediate attention. The hotel is in a great location & I do understand that the current owners of the hotel have only bought it recently... More

Hotel lovely and clean. Rooms nicely freshly painted. Was a fantastic visit till day 2. We arrived at breakfast at 9.30 and didn't eat till 10.30. The waitress were friendly . Kept bringing toast and tea . The hotel can't cope with busy crowds

I run a TV Production company and we had 15 crew members staying for upwards of 10 nights this July - We travel all of the time throughout the country and abroad. Some may say it's a luxury to stay in hotels up to 4 nights each week while on location but for us it's work so when we find... More

When we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome and even though it was quite late the manager organised some food for us which was lovely. Service was impeccable and the rooms were very comfortable with the exception of the lack of air con. The hotel has been updated and looks very appealing however the room got really warm... More
