We stayed with Mary last night as we were attending a family wedding in Fernhill house which is only a few minutes away. From our first phone call to reserve a room to our departure this morning we couldn't have asked for better! Mary was out to welcome us before we were out of the car and offered to help... More

The most amazing Irish hospitality ever, Mary goes out of her way to ensure everything is brilliant. We were staying for the Clonakility Marathon, and Mary so kindly took us to register for the marathon, and dropped us off in Clonakilty early in the morning, after having served us the greatest pre-marathon breakfast- delicious porridge and fruit. The room was... More

She warmed our rooms and beds, dried our clothes and lifted our spirits. The rooms were gorgeous and the showers spotless. After a great night's sleep Mary served us a sumptuous full, Irish breakfast... More

Stayed in Westbourne for a wedding recently. We really enjoyed our stay. Mary, the owner was so nice and very friendly. We had wedding in Dumore house hotel and she drove us out there. Rooms very nice, clean and warm, and breakfast was delicious. Would go back there again.

We stayed here for a wedding, in Fernhill house in June and Mary the owner was just brilliant to deal with. She offered to drive us to hotel for the wedding and she even arranged a hot water bottle to be in the bed for me when I got home as I had said I was cold earlier. Would have... More

We were in Clonakilty for wedding and spent two nights at Westbourne. It's conveniently located - just a short walk from the town centre. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and pretty. But the thing that makes this B&B so special is Mary, the lovely lady who runs it. She is warm and friendly and a good laugh. She did... More
