Stayed in a single room in the Clonakilty Townhouse when I was here for a wedding in Fernhill. It can be so hard to get a single room when you travel anywhere, so fantastic to be able to book one here. Room was on the basic side and a bit outdated but good value. There was a small old portable... More

Stayed here for a wedding in fern hill..at €80 for the room, very reasonable-especially in high season!the staff are lovely and hospitable, rooms extremely clean and the breakfast is fantastic!!they had no problem in rustling up a delicious veggie omelette for me..the only downside is if you're staying at the front of the townhouses, you can here every bit of traffic that... Stayed for 2 nights. Host was incredibly welcoming and really can't do enough for you. The choice and quality of the offer at breakfast was remarkable for such a small establishment and the actual Full Irish cooked from fresh so none of this warm buffet stuff you tend to get everywhere nowadays...oh and it tasted fantastic too!! Location was excellent... More

Excellent location, friendly accommodating managers, nice clean rooms, and great breakfasts all for a truly budget price. Be prepared to pay cash at checkout, but that small inconvenience helps keep the price down for lodgers. When it comes to children, getting breakfast for our fussy eater was as easy as making a special request!

This hotel is well situated near the centre of eating and drinking establishments in Clonakilty. The website describes it as a Luxury Boutique Hotel but our description of the décor etc would be that it is in need of some attention. Some of the seating on the landings and in one of the rooms definitely need replacing. This is not... More

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times and recently for 5 nights in July. The staff are brilliant funny and friendly. We had the nicest room at the top of the hotel. The breakfasts were huge with fantastic variety available although I must confess after the first day the size of the Full Irish breakfast defeated... More

We were looking for a one night stay in Clonakility and wanted something a little bit different in a central location. So often hotels bill themselves as “boutique” but fall short and disappoint – The Clonakilty Townhouse, did not disappoint. On arrival in Clonakilty we found the hotel immediately on entering the town and parked conveniently in their car park... More

My wife and I stayed there this July (2014) for a wedding at Inchydoney. Great breakfast, personal and excellent service from the managers (Dave and Ivor). Our room was on the top floor which allowed for a nice breeze and it had a small patio. I have only a small complaint and that the shower has a curtain as opposed... More
