We had dinner in the bar and it was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent, very friendly, lovely atmosphere and great food. Generous portions, we were there quite late but that had no impact on the meal or service, Will definitely be back!!

A bit higglety pigglety but absolutely charming. I met the owner at check in, which was quite late and she was lovely and gave me a great rate for the night. It is right in the centre of town with a great pub attached. The hotel could probably benefit from having money spent on it. BUT I would suggest that... More

If you're looking for a hotel with chrome and glass, then this is not for you. If you are looking for a more 'traditional' place to lay your head then go no further. The hotel is situated in the very centre of the town. Parking is either on the street, in a small private car park (first come first served),... More

stay off the tourist path and a great hotel in a great town. The owners are very friendly and make your stay special from the beginning. the rooms are clean and spacious, with a good pub attached for evening enjoyment and plenty of room to just sit. Internet was available for free.

We arrived into Clonakilty lat in the evening and decided to stay at the hotel my sister had recommended. it was everything she had said and more. We were 2 ladies travelling on our own and decided to take 2 rooms as we had shared for the past 5 days in London. The room and breakfast was 55 euro each,... More

This was our second time staying at O'Donovan's when visiting our Irish cousins. The O'Donovan family is always so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and neat and very comfortable. We had two rooms at the back, each with a balcony, and noise was never a problem. Breakfasts are good and the music at night is wonderful! We will... More

They were the only place we stayed that had AC, which we actually needed. They put us in a family room which was spacious the first night. When we decided to stay another night the room was already booked but got 2 rooms right across from each other. The man working the front desk was very pleasant, helpful & informative.
