This was our very first B and B experience as well as our first serving of black pudding ever. Neither disappointed. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower had the best water pressure of our trip, even better than the water pressure of our own home! We liked the ability to turn off the heat of we wanted. We... More

MacLiam Lodge was the most comfortable place we stayed on our 8 night Ireland adventure. The rooms are ample in size, well-appointed but not stuffy, plenty of pillows, and with the best beds for a good night’s sleep. They even have a handicapped bathroom that is a real handicapped bathroom. The facility can serve up to 25 people at once... More

Currently staying for two nights at the excellent Macliam Lodge. We arrived to be greeted by our wonderful hostess Maeve who showed us to our lovely, clean well presented room. On site parking and only 5 mins walk into town the B&B is ideally located. Maeve and John have put a lot of effort into making there home feel like... More

The food was superb, hot and plentiful, We would certainly stay... More

My husband and I stayed at Macliam Lodge last night as we had a wedding in a nearby hotel. We checked in on our way to the hotel for the reception. Maeve came out to meet us and was very friendly and welcoming. She showed us to our room and gave us the keys for the front door. The only... More

My wife and I stayed there for one night while visiting Clonakilty. Room was spacious, but bathroom had some mould on shower surround. Breakfast was very good and freshly cooked and served to each table. We had pleasant 15 minute walk into Clonakilty for dinner, but might not be as nice on a wet or cold night. Not great value...
