Inside a beautiful appointed house with what seems like family treasures on every surface, welcomed with tea and scones and... More

The house is amazing and the views stunning. Our room was small but very comfortable. Although the property is a bit out of town, the country ambience makes up for the inconvenience of having to drive to get a meal. Cheryl suggested the pub on the water about 10 minutes drive away and it was lovely. Breakfast at Loughcarrig was... More

Down a narrow lane turn a corner and there to greet you is a beautiful Georgian House on the banks of the river. The views are stunning, our hosts delightful and our 2 days here could not have been better. We are reluctant to leave and have enjoyed the comfortable surroundings. Our room was spacious and overlooks the river. Just... More

My husband and I have stayed at Loughcarrig House on several occasions and most recently with our baby daughter. We have family in the local area and the house is in the perfect location to enjoy peace and quiet with beautiful scenery, as well as being a reasonable distance to both Cork and Kinsale. Brian and Cheryl were wonderful hosts,... More

I stayed with Brian and Cheryl years ago, but I can only say that the welcome, hospitality and friendship was second to none! I booked a fishing weekend with Brian as a single party, and can only confirm the great welcome you will receive from these lovely people. I came back the year after with some mates and nothing had changed!... More

We stayed at Loughcarrig for a two night break in October, they welcomed us with open arms into their beautiful home. The house is set in spectacular grounds with stunning views and is just a few kilometres from Midleton. It was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean room and lovely ensuite with luxury linen and soft towels, but the... More

I'm just back from my third visit to Loughcarrig House Bed & Breakfast in Ballinacurra Co Cork. I travelled with a group of friends on my annual fishing trip. We had a lovely stay and our hosts (Brian and Cheryl) really looked after us again. We are always met with a nice welcome and a free pot of fresh tea... More
