Longueville is a lovely hotel, one I have been too before. This visit was for a family wedding and one again it was a grand experience. The view from the hotel, across the field of sheep, down the hills, off into the distance is incredible. The public rooms are so beautiful, with the tall ceilings, the grand moldings, the chandeliers,... More

I enjoyed every bit of my stay there. Wonderful room with great attention for every detail. The charme of historical furbishing is fantastic. So is the surrounding landscape.I loved the setting and every room of the house. Breakfast was a wonderful experience!

We have stayed here on many occasions and William and Aishling continue to surprise. The staff that they have selected are wonderful. They all seem to be ever present and are permanently cheerful. I cannot describe how sensational the good is so let me just say it was sensational. Ingredients were from the farm but the way they were cooked... More

Longueville house offers a country get-away. It's half way between Cork and Killarney so it's perfect for a two-centre holiday. It's a period home - one of few left in the country with some character and charm. The staff (Emma and Gabor) are extremely friendly and only eager to assist and make your stay wonderful. The sitting room, parlor and... More

I stayed at Longueville House with my mam and my grandma for one night and it was just amazing! When we arrived we were welcomed by the more than friendly staff espacially Garbour. After having some lovely sandwiches we had a walk through the gardens. They have their own chicken, ducks, goose, pigs and so on. And they grow every... More

I was travelling in Ireland with 3 girlfriend. This was a special treat for us and we were not disappointed. We stayed for 2 nights, midweek in April. The check-in was lovely and the initial impression of the house was outstanding. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed tea and pre dinner cocktails in the drawing room, followed... Recently stayed here with my girlfriend and her parents. We stayed on a midweek night for dinner bed and breakfast. The whole experience was like stepping back in time to a house frequented by the Royal Family. The food is of top quality, the staff are 5 star and are passionate about there work and also very knowledgable. The longueville... More

Gone salmon fishing 15th June 2014 with Ian. Really fantastic. Place is beautiful, the materials are excellent and in perfect condition. While I had no experience with Fly Flishing, Ian made me decently operational quite quickly. Got one but broke my line (I need more expertise). If you enjoy nature and fishing, and you are around, my advise is that... More

My father passed away recently. Over 100 of his family and friends came to Longueville House after the funeral Mass. William, Aisling and all the staff provided a wonderful sit-down meal for all of us in the quiet dignified surroundings of their country house. We did not know in advance how many people would come. William reassured us that he... More

I enjoyed Sunday lunch here with my family. The buffet starters and dessert are a great idea and all delicious. The a la carte mains were also very well done. The food is fresh and very much local with a lot of it being grown/reared on the property. This is my 3rd time here for meals and have never been... More
