What a place stayed for 2 nights for dear friends wedding, from the minute we arrived, shown to our rooms, a brief talk about there excellent walks, activities ect. The wedding was set in the gardens, a fairytale entrance for Bride & Groom. Then afterwards the drinks especially their own brewed Cider ( which is very strong ) the canapé... More

Stayed here for just one night. Everything from location, staff, food and room quality were all excellent. Food is centre stage here and i was only sorry i didnt get to try the tasting menu. Everyone was very friendly. Would highly recommend for a relaxing break.

3 of us had lunch here today. Made a reservation for 13.00 & when we arrive our table was waiting . Gabor I think that's the correct spelling was our server, he was very informative & friendly. Lunch arrived in a timely manner even tho there was a civil ceremony also happening. The food was very good, nicely seasoned &... More

Good quality food, friendly and helpful service and lovely setting. Biggest let down was €12 for apple juice that tasted like it was from concentrate. Limited menu. Silver service and plenty of loose leaf tea were the highs. Nice place to stop on Killarney road outside Mallow.

I attended a family Sunday lunch and the atmosphere, the attention to detail, the friendliness of the staff was second to none, The food was spectacular, you really pay for quality here with the starters being offered in a buffet style, the main courses on offer were cooked to perfection and the buffet desserts were absolutely to die for. Cant... More

I so wish we had booked for more than one night..... Longueville house and the hospitality of the O'Callaghan's is wonderful. It felt like we were visitors in a glorious mansion rather than paying guests in a hotel! The property, grand decor, vegetable gardens etc. was everything I had imagined. Dinner was out of this world - William O'Callaghan is... More

We stayed here as a party of seven adults and two children. We last visited Longueville House in 1976 and the warmth and hospitality of Jane O'Callaghan remains the same. She was ever helpful in making sure our stay was smooth (we were attending a funeral). Bar meals seem to finish at a very early hour, but Mrs. O'Callaghan personally... More

This place is grand but not austere. The downstairs rooms/communal areas are really beautiful with very attractive furnishings and paintings etc. My single room was perfectly pleasant with a large and very comfortable single bed, high ceilings and a large window with views over the garden. The ensuite was fine and clean but pretty basic, though the White Company toiletries... More

We arrived at 2pm on a Saturday, three children ages 6,4 and 2 with us. We walked the orchard, named the piglets and patted many dogs. Then to the bar to read papers and chat with other guests as the children played with various toys supplied by our hosts. More drinks in the drawing room and we watched the rugby.... More

I have stayed previously and enjoyed wonderful hospitality in a great location with charm and grace. Today I enjoyed a marvellous luncheon in their wonderful l'orangerie. A selection of appetisers are served buffet style - lots to choose from and served with fresh breads. Main courses are served and these are beautifully presented, competent dishes not your usual Sunday lunch... More
