I was only staying one night, meeting people from my team and treating them to dinner in the restaurant that evening. What transpired was a wonderful evening of great food and attention by the staff. We thouroughly enjoyed the enveing and, personally, I enjoyed walking the grounds and appreciating the work of the people that keep Longueville House in such... more

Just spent a long weekend in Longueville with a group of friends. It was stunningly good. This is the 27th time we have met up for an annual reunion and everyone voted Longueville as the best ever hotel. The house itself is beautiful. Set on a hillside overlooking a sweeping valley it's a wonderful Georgian-style building. The rooms are fantastically... more

What a delightful place to lay your weary head.. Spent 4 nights , did some flyfishing and some sight seeing. Easy access to Kerry and Cork's Coast. We were vacationing when Cork and Kerry were vying for the County Cup - quite fun! Rooms were pleasant , food was yummy and atmosphere was serene. Wish the horses were running -... more

This was the 3rd of three hotels we stayed in while visiting Eire, and in it's own quirky way the best! Quite a long drive up a bumpy road got us to the house but the moment we stepped inside we knew it was going to be different - in a very positive way. Reception Staff were pleasant and friendly.... more

We had a delightful stay at Longueville House. The house itself is very lovely. The hosts were warm, friendly and Jane went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was right on helpful on what to see and what to skip. Her help gave us the best of Ireland in that region, places I know we would... more

A great small hotel/inn in an old mansion, centrally located in County Cork Ireland. It is within easy drive of Cork and the coast. The food here is excellent and well worth staying for. The rooms are comfortable. more

Stayed at Longueville House for two nights and can’t praise it enough. Staff very polite and helpful, bedroom (number 108) was luxurious and the grounds were lovely. The public rooms were sumptuous, a lovely, quiet place to sit and enjoy a drink or the fabulous view. Breakfast and dinner were very good featuring all the bounty of the farm. Fresh... more

Our family of 4 visited Longueville house for two nights on our way back to Dublin from Kenmare. It was extremely enjoyable. The historic house sits on a gently sloping hill overlooking green farmlands and forests in a broad valley. Cows amble by in the pasture out front and sheep mow the grassy fields through which the long drive winds.... more

Stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights in a front facing (superior) room with breathtaking views across the valley. No lift but worth climbing 4 flights of stairs for the position. Outstanding food from highly talented chef with ingredients mostly from the estate. The young staff, of various nationalities, gave impeccable service. The Victorian conservatory was charming and we... more
