Visited the Roundabout Inn for lunch back in August. Basic food on offer which turned out to be less than appealing when it arrived. The whole place looked tired, slightly grubby and in need of a major refurbishment. Would not recommend this to anyone unless you were desperately in need of some food. Quite expensive too.

Called in here last Tuesday evening on the way home and we wish we didn't,what seems like an ok menu was what attracted us to stay.I visited the Toilets and they were filthy and the hand dryer was manky and not working,my partner had a chicken wrap which consisted of a very lonely 2 chicken goujons and some salad with... After hunting around for a place to sleep I finally caved and walked into this dump just so I can sleep... After having handed 84 euros over to the lady she showed us to our room, after she left we layed on the bed and it was like laying on wooden pallets absolutely awful...not to be beaten I showered and dryed... The Roundabout Inn is possibly the dirtiest accommodation I have ever experienced. The bedroom floor turned your feet black in seconds, and the shower cubicle smelt like goat. The towels were grubby and felt as if they had not been washed for at least a year. For one should instantly realise that this place is terrible, for it's perceived own... More

Went to the roundabout today for Sunday lunch. We had a selection of tables to choose from and our order was taken promptly. The food is ok, good old fashioned large portions. I had the special (breaded chicken) which was ok, the carrots were out of a jar (who does this anymore??). The staff were lovely. The toilets are disgusting.... More

On my way from a long journey and still with a 3hour drive ahead I decided myself and my girlfriend would pull in for something to eat. We came across the roundabout inn while approaching a roundabout and liked the look of the exterior as it looked clean and tidy. Inside was nice and well decorated for Christmas so I... More

I am local to this business and have eaten here 9 or 10 times in last year. The food will not win any Michelin Stars BUT it is simple and tasty and I have never had a bad experience! My favourite is the sizzling steak ( which is really tasty but more like a braised steak, they give a steak... More

This is a Hotel / Bar in serious need of some TLC. Now before I start I must praise the staff cause they were very pleasant and helpful - shame everything else lets them down. I stayed here twice now - once a few years ago & lately & i dont think a thing has changed in the rooms, except... More

I had the misfortune of eating here for the third time today having decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt that the food must have improved from the previous two time I visited in the last 5 years. Food is continuously unpleasant and bland. General decor is grimy with a stale smell. Staff were friendly but inattentive.... More

We were staying in Killarney traveling out to the Blarney Castle and cork for the day. We were getting hungry and going through another roundabout. Suddenly I saw a restaurant with places to park so we pulled in. After we pulled in I was a little leery, but my husband said hey we're parked let's go in. We went inside... More
