Our family stayed for one delightful week, made some friends that will remain for a lifetime, ate always-delicious meals, and saw the sights of Macroom and the surrounding area. The genuine warmth and hospitality of the people, both staff and visitors, in such a beautiful environment left a strong impression, so much so that we are already planning our next... More

Stayed here for 3 nights for a friends 50th birthday. Great place, room was spotless, great breakfast, and brilliant service throughout. My only complaint was the weather was awful but that is not the fault of the Mills! Would definitely go back to this hotel. Highly recommended.

Myself and my 3-year old son went in for breakfast at 9am on a Sunday morning and it was such a treat. A really generous and delicious bowl of porridge and a hearty full-Irish, with thickly-cut toast and a massive mug of cappuccino, all sensibly priced and served with a smile and a lots of good chat. This is a... More

I stopped here with my extended family on the way from Cork to Killarney. Ive been a number of times and its a great point at which to stop for a quick bite to eat and have a wander around the shop. Our waiter was exceptionally polite and friendly. The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The inside is... More

Mills inn was very nice. Rooms were spotless. Food was lovely. We went on a voucher. It was great. I would pay the full price it was so good. Staff were very pleasant. It is a perfect base for sightseeing. You must have a car because there is not much to do and nothing for children. It was perfect for... More

We generally stop here for lunch / dinner on any trips to Killarney/Kenmare or beyond. Staff are really friendly and homely atmosphere. Most recently had just the toasted specials, but have had lunches and dinners and they are always good quality and reasonably priced. Food is always delivered promptly. Always consistently good. You are only 20/30 minutes from Killarney and... More

I went to the Mills Inn yesterday evening with my parents and 10 month old twins. The staff were so friendly throughout our visit, from the wait staff and bar staff. There was a quiet section where we sat and I left my boys crawl about for a short while. The floor was so clean I was comfortable doing that.... More

Sanctuary from the driving rain on the N22 from Macroom found ourselves in the bar at the Mills Inn for a late Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere and an impressive looking place....very busy and a 10 minute wait for a table was well worth it when we finally got our food. Roast beef and all the trimmings was excellent and we... Myself and my brother arrived in The Mills Inn, Ballyvourney quiet late in the evening having been delayed on drive there due to weather conditions, this was no problem to Don the owner, who left a busy bar to check us in and asked if we were ok for something to eat, even though they had long finished serving food...
