Called in for an early lunch whilst travelling to Cork, and what a treat, great atmosphere and excellent food. I had the Irish Stew and my friend had the homemade burger and both were excellent, in fact my friend said it was the best burger she had ever (and she is from the USA home of the burger). Really glad... More

After some in depth research and a couple of friendly phone calls we made our booking at Mills Inn. A week of motorcycle touring in Southern Ireland awaited and we could not have wished for a more friendly welcome. We had booked a twin room but were booked into a family room with a double and 2 twin beds so... More

Stopped here for breakfast recently. Place is clean & welcoming, staff friendly. Food was well cooked & fresh. Good value for money. Ideal spot to stop on the road between Cork & Kerry on a sunny day.

On our way back from Killarney recently, stopped off in The Mills Inn, Ballyvourney for an eveninig meal. We had a drink outside in fantastic sunny weather, and enjoyed that time while waiting for our order to be ready. We then headed in after reserving a table for a meal and with pleasant service and lovely settings, this is always... More

Needed a base for the second part of the Beara Breffni way and was fortunate enough to get accommodation at the Mills Inn. I have stayed in Inns in the UK when walking there and the formula works, park up, dine and sleep. I have often lamented that we don't have similar establishments in Ireland. These cater for the walker... More

I recently went on an motorcycle trip to west cork with two of my friends. We were running short of time & decided to pull in for grub at the mills Inn ballyvorney. It was late in the evening when we pulled in (845pm). The first thing I noticed was the bar/restaurant were full,& obviously taught we would be waiting... More

This was my first visit back to West Cork in 30 years. The accommodation was perfect and bathroom was en-suite. Food was excellent, both breakfasts and dinners. Good authentic traditional music on Thursday nights. Will definitely stay there again on my next visit. Would highly recommend it, rates are reasonable. John p

Would highly recommend this hotel the rooms were spotlessly clean and very roomy. The food is excellent, and the desserts are just delicious, have never tasted icecream as nice as the brown bread and Baileys ice cream. The breakfast was also very good altough it would be nice if they could serve breakfast a little later than 10 even thirty... More

Spent three night at the Mills Inn over tha bank holiday weekend. Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and full of character. I know which room I'll want on a return visit. We ate there each evening of our stay and found the food to be very good. Bar\restaurant very busy as it was the long weekend but the staff effort... More
