Lovely clean hotel where after 5mins you will feel like on visit in your best friends house. Such level of services you wouldn't expect even in far more expensive facilities. I really enjoyed my time here and looking forward to stay in this hotel in 2 weeks again. Marek

BCH offers fine rooms with generous breakfasts (especially good coffee!) and an enjoyable host. Important for us were quiet surroundings. It's a tad far from Dublin centre if you're using public transport, so once you make your way there, you're not tempted to return until bedtime - a slight minus. If you're driving, no problem. We met many interesting guests... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here our first night in Ireland. The house (both inside and outside) is breathtaking and the owner is very friendly. I really liked the breakfast! You could choose what you liked. Its located about 20 minutes outside Dublin city. Highly recomended!

My wife and I stayed here for one night recently. Terry, Joe and Rocko (the dog) are perfect hoteliers. From Terry recommending places to eat, to Joe calling up Nautilus to get us a window table, then offering to drive us down there, they were the perfect embodiment of famed Irish hospitality. The room we stayed in was very comfy... More

Needed somewhere close to the airport with some character for our last night in Dublin and chose this on the strength of its strong location and TripAdvisor reviews. What a great choice! The O'Reillys gave us a full-on friendly Irish welcome and provided a classic cooked breakfast the following morning, complete with Irish music on the radio in the background.... More

We stayed 4 nights at Joe O'reilly's B&B in the quaint and charming town of Malahide. A beautiful home and garden situated in an upscale neighbourhood with a golf course next door. Breakfasts are basically made to order and they are delicious and substantial. Joe obviously loves people and is a delight with his stories and enthusiasm. Rooms are fine... More

I finished my 2-week vacation in Ireland with a 3-night stay at the gorgeous Georgian Beechwood Country House in Malahide. I chose it for its proximity to the airport, but it turned out to be an excellent choice for other reasons as well. The room was lovely and spacious, overlooking the garden in the back. Joe went out of his... More

Beechwood is located just south of the lovely little town of Malahide. It's a perfect location no matter which direction your trip will be taking. Just a short 20 minute drive from the airport and minutes from Malahide and its excellent restaurants. There's even Malahide Castle 10 minutes away. The rooms are spacious with a nice shower and wonderful bed... More

We had stayed in Beechwood in 2005 and revisited Ireland this June. The place has been kept extremely well and continues to run beautifully. Joe is an excellent host who takes GREAT care of his guests. He helped us with every tiny details, gave us tips, offered to drive us to the train station, received our lost luggage for us,... More

My stay here was short, but wonderful. Joe, the owner, was incredibly helpful! I had car trouble before I arrived there and he gave me some good advice and made sure I had assistance on the way before going back to what he was doing. Later that day, when I was ready to go find something to eat, he offered... More
