We all loved this experience a great day out was had by all. My two boys loved all activities and we spent hours here enjoying the zip line experiences and a lovely picnic during the activities. We will definentely go back again.

A friend and I visited Boyle mainly so we could spend 2 days at Lough Key, and what a great time it was. The lake is absolutely beautiful. We rented a boat and rowed to the different islands, visiting 3 of them. There is a castle on one, a medieval cemetery on another, and a 14th century abbey on another.... More

A great place to visit with kids. Did the boat trip after a long stroll on the grounds. My kids love the playground in the centre . They are too young yet for zip it etc but they can't wait. Great place for picnic. And if you spend 20 euro in shop or facilities..parking is free.

Our visit to Lough Key Park included walking in the well kept grounds with stunning views over the lake, - partaking of the restaurant in the Visitor Centre, food was fresh, beautifully cooked and reasonably priced, service was quick and courteous - , the toilets, which were clean, well equipped and spacious, - using the car park, there were not... I went to loughkey with my husband and my 3 boys ages 16, 12 and 8. Also in my company was 5 other families concisting of 9 adults and 11 children. I booked ahead 4 weeks before arrival. When I got there the place was quite busy and there was a lot of tents up front ( last year I... More

With just a little TLC this beautifully located site could be a world-beater. The campsite feels like the poor relation of the well-kept main centre. It gets full marks for its proximity to Lough Key but could really benefit from more toilets, an upgrade in the children's playground, wifi, an on-site shop and perhaps even a cafe. We loved Boda... We camped in Lough Key forest park camp site at the end of July. The weather was not great but there was plenty to do in Lough Key itself. The camp site was very clean with 3-4 areas where you can pitch your tent. It was quite busy and although there is a 11pm-8am quiet time it was not really... More

The location and view of the Lough is fantastic. Were it lets itself down is in facilities and activities. The whole time we were there not a single staff member was seen in the camp site, the reception was always closed. The main building staff just kept saying he must be around somewhere. During the day all the things stopped... More

A group of 5 adults & 3 children(aged 10 & 14) We went for the day to lough key excited to do the Boda Borg challenge but were disappointed by the price. €15 each was just too much(€125 a bit excessive for 2 hours play!!) So we had our picnic, played frisbe & football & went exploring in the forest. We... More

Brought my nearly 2 and nearly 4 year olds. The canopy walk was lovely and the views are amazing. The grounds are really nice but the free play area is very disappointing. We paid for the other one but wasn't blown over by it considering they charge (although they didn't charge for my youngest). I actually thought the slides were... More
