myself and my partner have had the most relaxing weekend at lough key hse. food was fab. surrounding was fab. i dont think ud get the care and srevice in any hotel in this country,frances the owner is at hand at any time,and is mighty crack More

Seems like an outlandish statement, but it's true. The house is beautiful. The room (the Red room) was sumptuous, with it's gorgeous, enormous four poster bed and roll top bath. The breakfast was really mouthwatering (the home made ginger and rhubarb jam was *particularly* lovely). By far the best part of the stay however was the warm and very friendly... More

Frances, Emiliy & co, Wow! I have stayed in many hotels & B&B's but this is just spectacular. I had no idea what to expect and I was totally blown away. Frances you should be bottled and sold to the Irish tourism board. People training in the tourism industry should come to your home to experience a true Irish welcome.... More

We recently hired out the house for a hen party. It's a great location, easy drive from Dublin in about 2 hours. We went out in Boyle one night and Carrick the other. The house is just gorgeous! We loved staying in this beautiful home, with gorgeious furnishings and warm hospitality. The breakfasts were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the gardens and took many photos. We hope to return when next we are in Ireland. More
