The owners are very kind and gave us an excellent service and hospitality. Whenever we return to this region surely we would love to come back ! The room was beautiful decorated, the bed was warm and wonderful and when we arrived there was a delicious cake with the tea and coffee. The bathroom was well fitted and shiny clean.

The house is really pretty, the garden is really beautiful too... The breakfast is perfect, I have nothing to say about it, and the room we had was great as well ... We had a really good time and I have to say Katherine is really welcoming and nice !

We only stayed for two nights here, but felt right at home. Katherine and her family did everything they could to make us comfortable. The room and ensuite bathroom were clean and tidy, a separate lounge area and coffee/tea making facilities were also provided. Lovely breakfast, delicious home-baked bread, and a choice of cooked dishes available. The area is great... More

Couldn't have been better. Lovely stay and Catherine and her family are more than accommodating. Great Irish breakfast with homemade brown bread and Jams. You won't want to leave. Perfect location to explore co Sligo, co Mayo and surrounding areas.

Catherine was great and made us very welcome, we just wished it wasn't a rushed 2 night visit for a wedding as we knew we really could have chilled for a nice weekend break away from home life. Breakfast was lovely as were the company of the other guests. The rooms and the rest of the farmhouse were absolutely spotless.... More

We spent another 8 nights with Catherine and her lovely family at this delightful Farmhouse B & B. Nothing is ever too much trouble, always a warm welcome with tea and homemade fresh scones. Our room as ever spotless & a very comfortable bed home from home. Breakfast as ever was lovely, fresh flowers from the garden on the table,... More

I used to prefer to stay in hotels until I stayed here. Katherine could not do anything more to make out stay perfect. It was like staying with family. She always went the extra mile and the things you did for my Auntie...I couldn't ask for anything more. You made her holiday! perfectly clean and the food was amazing. Thank... More

I had never been to Enniscrone before, and only stayed one night, but everything about Tara (and Catherine and her family) made me wish I could come back as soon as possible. The setting is beautiful, looking down a short way to the town, with a view of the dunes on the left and the beach beyond. For reasons not... More

I only had the pleasure of staying at the Tara Farmhouse B&B for one night. Catherine was a welcoming host and extremely helpful, especially when I was booking the room only the day before, while in transit. She also provided a lift in her car to a wedding reception we were attending and shared useful local information. The room was... More

I stayed in Tara with my family, including 4 grandchildren at the weekend. We were warmly greeted by Catherine & Eamon who made us so welcome and at home. Tara is situated in a large well kept garden with views over Killala Bay and Enniscrone with a lovely vegetable patch to the rear. We settled in the sitting room and... More
