This is a absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in - no doubt about it !!! If anyone has see Fawlty Towers the manager is like a really, really nice Mr Fawlty. People I notice have complained about having to go downstairs for tea/coffee - we brought a kettle and a teapot with us and at one stage Mr O'Donnell the... More

This hotel is not new, but it is comfortable, clean and well tended. The rooms are very large and comfortable (we had 25 and 27). The breakfast was very nice. Lots of things are nearby in town. The only issue we had was the shower curtain was so far into the shower, that it was difficult to shower without the... More

My son and daughter and I stayed here last week in a room with 3 beds. The hotel was older but very clean and updated. It is a family business and run with pride by a friendly staff. We stayed on the second floor. Despite its age, the building had a nice working elevator which made transporting luggage very easy.... More

The food in the Bistro was excellent it was to the standard of any high class restaurant you may care to visit. We had all our evening meals in the bar part of the Bistro and found it to be a superb candlelit atmosphere. Our room had a wonderful view of Donegal Bay one of the best views we have... More

Had a fantastic over night stay in The Fitssgerald's hotel. From the very minute we walked through the door, the warm welcome from Staff, showing us to our room etc. We had booked into the resturaunt that evening for dinner, the food was great!! We will be back.

Thank you for your kind and generous opening remarks. With regard to our complimentary teas and coffees station we are sorry that you missed the bin which is a permanent fixture and also that you overlooked the lift to all floors immediately adjacent to the station. While the bar is closed in the afternoons lounge service to guests is available;... More

We stayed here for a weekend in mid-April. There was secure parking available which is a bonus - it's nice to park the car and forget about it for a few days. Given a warm welcome and shown to our room which had a great view of Donegal bay and the surfers on 'The Peak'. The room was spotless and... More
