It was my first visit to this hotel and I wasn't disappointed the decor might uv been a bit dated but I thought it added a bit of charm. You couldn't ask for a better view and the room was really clean and spacious, the man on the front desk could not be any more helpful. The breakfast was spot... More

The owners here are extremely friendly and accommodating. The bedroom was lovely - the owner sorted my wifi when it didn't work initially. The restaurant is very nice. However I couldn't say the same for breakfast which really lets this place down. You have to order everything including juice and cereal - there is no "help yourself" option. I ordered... More

Spacious room, beautiful sea views, plenty of storage. No tea and coffee facilities in the room but complimentary tea and coffee is available on the ground floor for guests which we used several times. There is also a vending machine should anyone require a snack. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. An ironing board and iron is also... More

I can't really add much more to all of the positive comments for FitzGeralds. I've lost count of the number of times we've stayed here over the years. On every visit we are welcomed like old friends. It's consistently spotlessly clean serving top notch food and a very well stocked bar. The sea view never changes ☺ and the rain... More

fantastic hotel staff and food brillant I normally say hotel,s are for sleeping in not eating in, This hotel is the exception to that rule. Dined in the hotel all 5 nights of our stay. Very difficult to say much more other than we would always go back to this hotel if we where going to that area

Lovely hotel. They graciously accommodated requests for early meals and Gerry provided every comfort. Twin room was large, clean and comfortable. Bistro associated with hotel is top-notch with a good wine list (and knowledgable restaurant manager) and great food. Will plan to stay here again.

This is a absolutely fantastic hotel to stay in - no doubt about it !!! If anyone has see Fawlty Towers the manager is like a really, really nice Mr Fawlty. People I notice have complained about having to go downstairs for tea/coffee - we brought a kettle and a teapot with us and at one stage Mr O'Donnell the... More

This hotel is not new, but it is comfortable, clean and well tended. The rooms are very large and comfortable (we had 25 and 27). The breakfast was very nice. Lots of things are nearby in town. The only issue we had was the shower curtain was so far into the shower, that it was difficult to shower without the... More

My son and daughter and I stayed here last week in a room with 3 beds. The hotel was older but very clean and updated. It is a family business and run with pride by a friendly staff. We stayed on the second floor. Despite its age, the building had a nice working elevator which made transporting luggage very easy.... More

The food in the Bistro was excellent it was to the standard of any high class restaurant you may care to visit. We had all our evening meals in the bar part of the Bistro and found it to be a superb candlelit atmosphere. Our room had a wonderful view of Donegal Bay one of the best views we have... More
