This hotel is advertised as a family friendly hotel but it is NOT. We stayed here over the Easter hols for 3 nights and it was the worst experience ever. My 2 little kiddies were just loving the music and dancing on the first night. There was about 15-20 other children there age and all the families were seated around... More

The bedroom was very small for a twin there was barely enough space to move in it. we arrived at 8.05 on friday evening after travelling for 3 1/2 hours to be told that the bar had finished serving... We had a fantastic mid-week break three times last year. Food excellent, staff very friendly and competent. Jackie,Sarah & Deirdre are all brilliant receptionists, warm ,courteous, helpful and at all times cheerful. Under the guidance of manager Phillip McGlynn this Hotel is in good hands. The rooms are very comfortable, special disabled facilities are provided. The dining room is run... More

Booked a superior room for a nice romantic getaway with my partner only to be given a run down shabby room with dirty carpets, bed linen chairs and dust everywhere, even had an extra guest staying with us in the bath! Never seen such a creature before and to make matters worse there was no lock on the bathroom door,... More

Elegant Hotel with great old bones, mindful of another era. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and professional. Room was small but lovely. Breakfast was excellent with very, very attentive staff. Grounds were impeccable and the walking trail around the golf course along the cliffs make you want to "walk slowly" and enjoy the breathtaking views. Husband spent his childhood in... More

Your husband has realised a life time ambition, it is surprising the number of people that return to stay here that either grew up in the area or visted Bundoran in their youth; with similar stories to yours... I am delighted The Great Northern lived up to his expectations. The hotel is an impressive building nestled on the Rougey Cliffs,... More
