We stayed here two nights..we had been on horseback all day and we were greeted so graciously...the house was so quaint and full of antiques..the rooms are slightly outdated..but we were very comfortable and loved the charm of this lovely home..our hostess could not have been more welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding..this was one of our favorite stops!!

This was our second stay at Cavangarden. We stayed one night last year and liked it so much that we went back this year, for 3 nights. You need a car, it is 3kms outside Ballyshannon. It is really quiet and surrounded by fields and horses. Breakfast is GREAT. You get to chose from the traditional Irish Breakfast, French toast,... More

Arrived 31/07/14. Room #1. Very dirty/filthy. Dead flies and waste/dirt on floors, huge amount of dust on furniture's. Bulb defect in room. No bulb at all in lamp (exempt from mirror lamp) in bathroom. Handle to shower nearly fallen off - hanging in one loose screw. Irish Breakfast tasteless without any character. The worst during our holiday, where we stayed... More

We travel to Ireland every year and stay at Agnes's home everytime. Her home is large and the rooms are spacious. The drive to the home thru beautiful woods and land. You get to the end of the drive and the view opens up to the home in a wonderful setting. Agnes is one of the nicest B&B hostesses in... More

We dropped over for a night here, it's quite away from the town and a 500m drive off the main road and through the park until you get to the old villa. A charming lady warmly welcomed us and showed us to our spacious room, two beds (one single, one double but small). We asked for the heating to be... More

The house is huge, the rooms massive, warm, clean with tea etc plus t.v. Wonderful breakfast every morning the owners are very friendly and welcoming. True old world charm there is a wood river and so peaceful. Would recommend a holiday in this beautiful house and so. Reasonable.

if you like quiet - this is great - 500 meters off the main road - we were shown to a very large room (actually 2 beds) . Since no one else was here we were allowed to look into all the rooms -very nice !! Breakfast was great in the dining room - we actually talked to the owner... More

The host was wonderful as was the breakfast, my wife absolutely adored the antique style of the house but it would not suit everyone's taste. The only problem I would have was the lack of wifi. The view out of our bedroom window was like a picture. would definitely stay again.

The B&B is this huge old house that has charm oozing from every pore. The drive up to the house was gorgeous as were the grounds. Our room was very big and comfy. The owner was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very tasty. My only disappointment was the shower; water pressure was horrible and washing my hair was... More

My husband, teenaged son, & I visited Cavangarden House in August of 2012. The grounds were very pretty with the winding drive and the dogs were very nice. Breakfast was also very good and the hostess was nice and accomodating. We were disappointed in the room. The shower was barely a dribble and regulating the temperature was challenging. The room...
